In addition, written verification from a medical professional is required by the last day of the tournament for illness or injury, and for personal emergency, a written summary of the emergency needs to be submitted by the same date for the referee to make a determination. Selection Lists are Up!
Players please note that the competitor lists are up for the CVAC Fall Championships. At this time the alternates listed are those who entered timely and will be first entered into the event if there is an opening. Late alternates will be ordered by time stamp and will follow the timely alternates. At this time, I will not post the late alternate lists until we go through the timely lists first.
I only entered players into the doubles events if they were entered into the singles main draw unless I was specifically asked to do it otherwise by a player. Please let me know your partners as soon as you can. You have until August 24th to pair up or at that time you will be randomly paired.

players wanting to play up in age groups!
If a player wishes to play up and doesn't make that cut, he will be entered only into that division as an alternate. If he wishes to have the opportunity of playing in the younger age division if he doesn't make the cut, then he needs to inform the referee of that decision. Then if the player does not age up, he will be entered into the lower age group. Please note that the player must be ranked in the top 200 of his/her age division to be considered for aging up in the main draw.
Example: Player is 16 trying to get into the 18s. You must enter 18s and e-mail referee carol kim at ckim410s@comcast.net that you are trying to get into the older age group, but if you don't make the cut, then you want to be moved into the younger age group. Your ranking in the 16s must be in the top 200 nationally to do this. If you don't email carol kim, then you will automatically be ranked in the main draw/alternate list of the 18s and not moved to the 16s.
