Cold Weather :
The National Weather Center is forecasting temperature in the teens for Saturday and Sunday. the USTA Texas Section does not have specific rules and regulations when it comes to cold weather. The Tyler Tennis & Swim Club Tournament Committee STRONGLY ENCOURAGE all parents and players to prepare adequatly by packing winter clothes for the weekend such as: thermal clothing, sweat pants, sweat shirts, winter coat, gloves, scarf, winter hat, blankets and extra change of clothes. THE TYLER WINTER ZAT WILL BE HELD DESPITE THE COLD WEATHER. As a parent or guardian, we totally understand if you feel that it is in the best interest of your child not to play under these circumstances. We would encourage you to please call us at (903) 561-3014 or e-mail us at gauthierguillaume@hotmail.com if you choose to withdraw prior to Saturday, January 9th. The USTA Texas Section would like to remind you that there are no penalty points for withdrawing from ZAT level tournaments. We thank you in advance for your support and understanding as we move forward with our scheduled USTA sanctioned tennis event.
