Quick Start 10 & under Tournament
The Quick Start tournament will be June 6th (Sunday) 9:00 AM at John Drew Tennis Center.

PLAYER REGISTRATION
All players must register for the tournament prior to playing their first match. Registration will take place only at John Drew Smith Tennis Center. Registration hours are Friday, June 4 from 4 - 6:30 PM EST or Saturday, June 5 from 6:45 AM - 5:00 PM ESTat least one hour before scheduled match. After the initial registration, players should check-in at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled match at the assigned site. When a player checks in, it means that they are ready to play.

Draw and First match Times
The draws for single and doubles will be done by 1:00 PM June 1, the first match times will be posted by 6:00PM Tuesday June 1st. You must go the the doubles site to fine the first match times for doubles. The draws for singles and doubles will be posted Friday June 4th by 12:30 PM

Matches Scheduling
Matches: BG 12-18.
First day of the tournament: One (1) Doubles, One (1) Singles, One (1) Doubles. BG 18 matches will begin at 2 pm.
Second day of the tournament: One (1) Doubles, One (1) Singles (Main Draw), One (1) Singles (Consolation), One (1) Doubles.
Third day of the tournament: One (1) Singles (Main Draw), Two (2) Singles (Consolation), Doubles Finals.
Fourth day of tournament: One (1) Singles (Main Draw), Two (2) Singles (Consolation).
Matches: BG 10.
First day of the tournament: One (1) Doubles, One (1) Singles (Main Draw).
Second day of the tournament: One (1) Main Draw match or One (1) Consolation match and Two (2) Doubles matches.
Scoring Format: BG 12 –18.
Singles Main Draw (2 out of 3 sets regular scoring Consolation (2 out of 3
sets tie break in lieu of third set).
Doubles 8-game pro sets.
(Match tie-break at 8-all).

COLLEGE NIGHT
We are having a Q & A session Sunday evening June 6th@ 6:30 pm at Canongate Healy Point Country Club. This will be for junior players and parents who have questions or concerns about college opportunities and the entire recruiting process. Our special guest Coaches will be Georgia Southern University Coach Amy Bonner, Mercer University Coach Warren Woolfolk and University of Georgia Coach Manuel Diaz.

DOUBLES FOR THIS TOURNAMENT
This tournament does have doubles.All players must play doubles in the same age division in which they have entered singles.The Southern Section is comprised of the following nine southern states: Alabama However, to make it easier and more efficient for you to know first who made the singles tournament and then select a doubles partner, we have set up another tournament id and page just for doubles registration. Doubles registration will open on MAY 21 after the competitor's list for singles is posted. Doubles registration will close on MAY 25. Please enter doubles in the same age group that you were accepted in for singles. Even though it shows doubles for the girls 18s on this site they will also have to go to the doubles site to sign up.

First Match Times for Singles and Doubles: first match times posted no later than 5 pm, Tuesday, June 1, 2010.
Draws Posted: All draws will be posted no later than Noon, Friday, June 4, 2010.

WITHDRAWAL
If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do it online. Click on edit registration, then withdraw. You will get a confirmation number - KEEP THIS NUMBER! Without the confirmation number you will not have proof that you withdrew. All Withdrawals after entries close must be sent in writing by E-mail to maconten@bellsouth.net to the attention of Donna Bailey. Please be aware that if a player withdraws for any reason other than illness, injury, or a family emergency: suspension points will be given to that player. We will be checking if players that withdraw are playing in other tournaments that same week. Players withdrawing within 7 days of the tournament start date will not be refunded the entry fee. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals after 11:59 PM EST on Saturday, May 29, 2010.

THE SELECTION LIST
The selection list will be posted on or before Wednesday May 19th, 5:00 PM. Singles Selections will be based primarily on the May 18, 2010 USTA Georgia Standings.

GEORGIA LEVEL 1 TOURNAMENT. SOUTHERN LEVEL 3 TOURNAMENT. This
tournament is open only to junior players whose parents have
established a legal residency in Georgia, hold a current USTA
membership card assigned to Georgia, and who are citizens of the
United States or meet the resident alien requirements for a
national ranking. Scoring format: Singles Main draw (2 out of 3
sets) Singles Consolation (2 sets with a 3rd set match tie-break)
Doubles (8 game pro-sets). T-shirts. STATE CHAMPIONSHIP - This is a
State Championship tournament.
QUICKSTART - IN ADDITION TO THE REGULAR BOYS/GIRLS 10S EVENT,
THIS TOURNAMENT ALSO OFFERS THE 60'QUICKSTART FORMAT FOR 10 &
UNDER. QuickStart players CANNOT play in the regular State
Championship divisions. QuickStart Events are open ONLY to age
eligible players with no previous year-end Championship ranking in

. Results in the 60' QuickStart for 10 & Under tournaments will
not be included in USTA GA Standings or end-of-year Championship or
Satellite rankings. 60' QuickStart Format 10 & Under players
who meet the requirement of one (1) ranking point will be listed
numerically on www.ustageorgia.com at the end of the ranking year
(Jan. - Dec.). Only results played in this format will count for
this list.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Monday, May 17, 2010 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
