Draws are subject to change!
All draws are subject to change. Please recheck draws for changes in time and or withdrawals. All changes made within 24 hrs of tournament start will be phoned to the affected parties. doubles times may change if you were scheduled to play a team with only one player. Remember that both players on a team must sign up for doubles before the deadline. You must have your partners USTA # to do this. Also, doubles players may only play in their same singles age category and division. If you sign up for a novice division and there are no other novice entries, we will put you in the challenger division. Same goes for Challenger to Open. We will only bump you up one division, not two and we will never move you down a division. Also, we may move you up one age category if we do not have enogh entrants in the age division tha you signed up for. No late entries will be accepted.

Contacting the Director, Check In and Withdraws
If you need to withdraw from the tournament please email the director at hunterhg@comcast.net. Also, please call the director at 925 368-8882. Please list the players name, age, division and reason for the withdraw. The director will contact you to confirm the withdraw. All players should check in at least 15 minutes before your scheduled match time. Make sure you check in directly to the site that you are assigned. Lateness penalties will be strictly enforced if you check in to the wrong site. You may find this information when you check your start time on the draws. LTC is the Lafayette Tennis Club. NGH is Northgate High School. RDP is Rudgear Park Tennis Courts. The notes below have detailed directions to each site! All sites will be accepting entry fee checks!

Match Format
The Match format for singles is best of three sets with a match tiebreak in lieu of a third set. Doubles will be 8 game pro sets. Novice players format will be First round match loser consolation. All novice players will be guaranteed to have the opportunity to play 2 singles matches. There is a playoff for third and fourth place in all divisions. Please sign up for doubles with a partner before the deadline. Your entry into the doubles is free due to the combined entry fee. If you email the director we will put you on a "looking for a partner" list but cannot guarantee a partner. You and your partner must both sign up with each other before the deadline. Please email us at least 1 week before the deadline or we will not be able to attempt to find a partner for you.

For directions to the Lafayette Tennis Club (3125 Camino Diablo, Lafayette, CA 94549, (925) 937-2582), please use the following link to Yahoo maps --> Off of the 24 take the Pleaseant Hill Rd exit North, rt on Stanley then Right on Camino Diablo. You will see our exit sign first. Keep going and you will hit our entrance sign, then turn right down a steep drive. We are located in a hidden glen. Make sure to allow ample time for traffic. We are located close to the freeway so it is an easy drive for most players.

Practice courts
During the tournament no practice courts will be open at the Lafayette Tennis Club. Acalanes High School is a stones throw away from the club and is open to the public. The address is 1200 Pleasant Hill Rd. Take the Pleasant Hill rd exit North and continue on Pleasant Hill until you see the courts on your right hand side. The Lafayette Tennis Club is a 2 minute car ride away.

Dress Code
Proper tennis attire is required on the courts at all times. Collared shirts are not required. All running shoes including non marking running shoes ar prohibited. Black soled shoes except for barricades and other tennis shoes are prohibited as well. You will be defaulted if you cannot find a replacement pair of shoes within 15 minutes after your match time. This rule will be strictly enforced, no exceptions. Shorts, skirts or sweats with pockets or some system to hold an extra ball is required. No cuttoff jeans are allowed on the courts. If you look good on the court you will play better!!!

Draws will be posted no later than Wednesday before 8am. Please only ck the internet for your start time. Phone requests for start times will not be accepted.

Come play a tournament at the lovely Lafayette Tennis Club. We
have newly resurfaced US Open Blue courts and operate as a private
club! We recently renovated the clubhouse and locker rooms! LTC is
the Lafayette Tennis Club. NGH is Northgate High School. When you
check the draw sheet you will see your location. If you do not see
anything then you are at the LTC. Please check in 30minutes before
your match time at the tournament desk. Lateness penalties will be
strictly enforced. Allow extra time due to traffic. Snacks will be
provided daily but lunch may not be purchased at the club. Casa
Gourmet Burrito and Subway is a stones throw away in Lafayette.
Downtown Walnut Creek is also an option for food but the parking
can be tough sometimes. Please check the draw on Friday before the
tournament and then daily once the tournament starts. You are
responsible for checking for your start time. If you need to
withdraw from the tournament please email the TD Hunter at
hunterhg@comcast.net and call at 925 368-8882. Entry fee refunds
will not be given after the deadline. You may withdraw yourself
from the tournament at anytime before the deadline using your
confirmation #. Avoidance requests will be accepted before the
deadline only and if the draws are large, we will most likely not
honor your avoidance. It is always worth a try though and we will
refund your entry or credit you for a future tournament if you sign
up with an avoidance request before the deadline and we cannot
honor it. Many matches may be viewed from the parking lot. Please
bring a couple of folding chairs as the club does not have enough

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, August 10, 2010 7:00:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
