If you need to withdraw from the tournament please email the director at hunterhg@comcast.net. Also, please call the director at 925 368-8882. Please list the players name, age, division and reason for the withdraw. The director will contact you to confirm the withdraw. All players should check in at least 15 minutes before your scheduled match time. Make sure you check in directly to the site that you are assigned. Lateness penalties will be strictly enforced if you check in to the wrong site. You may find this information when you check your start time on the draws. LTC is the Lafayette Tennis Club. NGH is Northgate High School. RDP is Rudgear Park Tennis Courts. The notes below have detailed directions to each site! All sites will be accepting entry fee checks! Refuse to Lose!!

All 10s 12s and 14s boys and girls most likely will have a challenger division along with open and novice divisions.. All 16s and 18s challenger divisions may be bumped up to the open division. Make sure to ck the next division up. You may have moved up a division if there were not enough players entered in your division. All players that play doubles must play in the same age group and division as their singles. If you did not follow this rule then you were not put in the draw.

All draws are subject to change. Please recheck draws for changes in time and or withdrawals. All changes made within 24 hrs of tournament start will be phoned to the affected parties. doubles times may change if you were scheduled to play a team with only one player. Remember that both players on a team must sign up for doubles before the deadline. You must have your partners USTA # to do this. Also, doubles players may only play in their same singles age category and division. If you sign up for a novice division and there are no other novice entries, we will put you in the challenger division. Same goes for Challenger to Open. If we decide that there are not enough entries we may also bump you up one division and/or one age group. We will not bump you up two divisions or 2 age groups. We will never move you down a division. No late entries will be accepted.

Draws will be posted no later than Wednesday before 8am. Please only ck the internet for your start time. Phone requests for start times will not be accepted. We will be using 2 sites! The lafayette Tennis Club and Northgate High School. When you ck your draw, NGH is Northgate High and LTC is Lafayette Tennis Club. Make sure to check directly into your site!!!! For directions to the Lafayette Tennis Club (3125 Camino Diablo, Lafayette, CA 94549, (925) 937-2582), please use the following link to Yahoo maps --> Off of the 24 take the Pleaseant Hill Rd exit North, rt on Stanley then Right on Camino Diablo. You will see our exit sign first. Keep going and you will hit our entrance sign, then turn right down a steep drive. We are located in a hidden glen. Make sure to allow ample time for traffic. We are located close to the freeway so it is an easy drive for most players. more info

If you are assigned to play at the Northgate High School site, please check in directly to the site 15 minutes before your match. Practice courts may or may not be open. When you check your start time make sure to check the site location. Lateness penalties will be strictly enforced. The address of the courts is 1100 Hutchinson Dr, Walnut Creek, Ca 94598. The tennis courts are on Htchinson dr! Please use the directions below and you will not get lost. Directions from Ygnacia Valley Rd exit. Take Yggnacio Valley Rd about 2 miles then slight right on Walnut Ave. not Walnut blvd.!!! and then a right on Hutchinson Rd. The courts are on the left hand side. Please park on the school side. If you park on the other side you will receive a parking ticket. Again, the courts are not at the high school address, they are on Hutchinson drive of of Walnut Ave. Please follow the above directions!! The Match format for singles is best of three sets with a match tiebreak in lieu of a third set. Doubles will be 8 game pro sets. Novice players format will be First round match loser consolation. All novice players will be guaranteed to have the opportunity to play 2 singles matches. There is a playoff for third and fourth place in all divisions. Please sign up for doubles with a partner before the deadline. Your entry into the doubles is free due to the combined entry fee. If you email the director we will put you on a "looking for a partner" list but cannot guarantee a partner. You and your partner must both sign up with each other before the deadline. Please email us at least 1 week before the deadline or we will not be able to attempt to find a partner for you.

During the tournament no practice courts will be open at the Lafayette Tennis Club. Acalanes High School is a stones throw away from the club and is open to the public. The address is 1200 Pleasant Hill Rd. Take the Pleasant Hill rd exit North and continue on Pleasant Hill until you see the courts on your right hand side. The Lafayette Tennis Club is a 2 minute car ride away.

This is a one weekend tournament with about 200 players. Honoring avoidance requests with large draws and only 2 days to complete is difficult.

Proper tennis attire is required on the courts at all times. Collared shirts are not required. All running shoes including non marking running shoes ar prohibited. Black soled shoes except for barricades and other tennis shoes are prohibited as well. You will be defaulted if you cannot find a replacement pair of shoes within 15 minutes after your match time. This rule will be strictly enforced, no exceptions. Shorts, skirts or sweats with pockets or some system to hold an extra ball is required. No cuttoff jeans are allowed on the courts. If you look good on the court you will play better!!!
