If you are planning on playing your rain delayed matches before this Sunday's midnight deadline, that will allow the results to count on your Grand Prix points for this year, please email myself and Michele Wilson at USTA NORCAL. Michele's address is: wilson@norcal.usta.com I will not be in my office or have computer access over the weekend, so ccing Michele will ensure that your points get counted. If you play after this Sunday, your results will counts for next season's Grand Prix standings. Good luck!

All morning matches are now scheduled for 1PM. Noon and 1PM matches are scheduled for 2. All other matches are as scheduled. A reduced length format will be employed. The mist persists. All matches scheduled between 8 and 10:30 AM are now scheduled for noon. All matches scheduled between 11AM and noon are now scheduled for 1PM. All other matches are as scheduled. Please check for updates.

Players:
We had all the courts free of puddles and many dry spots by 9AM, but unfortunately, the cloud settled back on us. It is misting now. All 8AM matches are now scheduled for 11AM. All 9AM to 10:30 matches are scheduled for noon. All other matches are as scheduled. Please check for updates. As per USTA rules, I cannot cancel until noon at the earliest. This weather is so light, that if we get any kind of , we should be able to finish a lot of the events. Thanks for your patience.

Presently, at 7:40 the courts are wet with some dry spots. We will delay all matches by one hour. The forcast is for 77 degrees today, wtih no more moisture, so we should be able to get our matches in. Thank you for your paitience.

3rd Place Matches
Events that have four entrants in them will have 3rd place matches at the same scheduled time as the finals. Women's 3.5 Doubles, Mixed 4.0 Doubles, Men's 3.5 Doubles, and Men's 3.0 Singles will have 3rd place matches.

Warmup courts
If you want to warmup before your match, you should come extra early and go to Magnolia Park, on Middlebrook, approximately one mile southwest of campus. From main entrance of the university, go west on East Cotati Ave., left on Bodway, then right on Middlebrook. Courts are available on a first come first serve basis, nothing is reserved. There are eight courts at this site.

Tournament desk at Sonoma State University, Rohnert Park, CA.
This is a fund raiser for the Sonoma State University Men's Tennis
Team. Some matches may be played under lights and at an alternate
site. The North Bay is a popular destination on Fridays and
weekends. Please allow at least an extra hour of travel time.
Lateness penalties will be strictly enforced. The tournament desk
phone is 707-664-2255. If necessary, Magnolia Park will be used as
a satellite site. In this case some matches may be played under
lights.
No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, September 8, 2010 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
