| CONGRATULATIONS TO ASHLEY MURDOCK, MIDWEST WOMEN'S OPEN WINNER! |
| Congratulations to the number three seeded player, Ashley Murdock of Memphis, TN for winning the 2009 Midwest Women's Open Championship at the Pearson Ford Open. Ashley, who just finished her junior year at the University of Memphis, did not drop a set during the tournament, winning the final match over Zorana George of Toledo, OH 6-2, 6-4. Ashley and her partner, Maureen Modesto of Munster, IN were also finalists in the Women's Doubles, losing in the final to the number one seeded team of Brooke Beier of East China, MI and Michelle Sammons of West Lafayette, IN, 6-2, 6-2. Congratulations ladies!!

Doubles matches to be scheduled Saturday late afternoon and evening, Sunday after the Singles Final.

| TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE PLAN |
| SCHEDULE SUBJECT TO CHANGE, HOWEVER, below is the planned match schedule plan for the Women's Event. This is for your planning purposes but note the schedule is subject to change. This website is useful in communicating to all players, please know we use it regularly to communicate if changes occur.
FRIDAY: Round of 16 singles matches Tournament start time 9:30am (women's matches will be scheduled for afternoon)
SATURDAY: Quarterfinal and Semifinals matches, 1 or 2 rounds of doubles. Tournament start time 9:30am.
SUNDAY: Final singles. Final of doubles, Tournament start time 9:30am.
Singles matches are regular scoring, best 2 or 3 sets with a 12 point Tiebreak at 6-6 in any set.
Doubles matches and Consolation matches will be regular scoring with a Match Tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd set.

| PASTA DINNER FOR PLAYERS AND GUESTS |
| All players and guest at the Pearson Ford & Women's Open tournament are welcome to a buffet pasta dinner catered by Maggianos restaurant. The dinner is to be held on Friday June 26th, 2009 at the Indianapolis Tennis Center indoor facility. Thank you Jami Patterson at Wabash Valley Tennis Club for sponsorship for the Pearson Ford pasta dinner.

| Prize money distribution list for women's event is in the tournament report. Players will be asked to declare amateur or professional status upon tournament desk check in.
No tournament expenses given to amateur players (High School and College eligible)

| SELECTION AND DRAW |
| Selection, seeding and draws to be done Monday June 22nd at the Indianapolis Tennis Center.
In order for these events to be held, the minimum number of players in singles is 8 and in doubles is 4 teams.

| FORMAT AND RULES |
| Regular scoring. Best 2 out of 3 sets with a 12 point Tie-breaker at 6-6 in any set.

| 2009 MIDWEST OPEN SERIES |
| The Midwest Open Series has been patterned after the highly-successful US Open Series. The Midwest has linked three existing and well-established tennis tournaments within the Midwest Section to provide Open Men and Open Women division players an opportunity to earn prize money plus earn points from each tournament with the top eight point winner for men and women advancing to the Midwest Open Series Championships event to be played in conjunction with the ATP Championships in Cincinnati, Ohio.
