WAETHER UPDATE 4:35 P.M.
We are relocating matches originally scheduled at Collins Hill to Apalachee and Hamilton Mill. Courts at these two locations got much less rain than we did at Collins Hill. Players can either come to Collins hill and we will direct you to the facility to which your match is now assigned or you can call Collins Hill at 5:00 and we will then tell you which facility to go to. We appreciate everyone's patience as we work through this weather related unpleasantness.
|
WEATHER INFO 12:30 P.M. SUNDAY
We are Monitoring the weather and should any of the liquid sunshine inflict itself on us I will post a notice here about any rain delays. We do have the entire staff of Collins Hill out on the patio performing the ancient Hopi sundance ritual. This in itself is interesting to watch. The real attraction however is Aubrey, our ertswhile Tournament Director, leading the procession in his pink and blue boxers. Stay tuned for further weather developments.

PLAYING SITES & DRAW SHEET SITE ABBREVIATIONS
We will be using seven sites for this tournament. Many of the courts and/or facilities that were available to us originally aren't available this weekend due to the the recent rains which caused a massive rainout for the various league matches. Matches in all draws are split accorss all facilities in an effort to get the matches for any given round on court as close to the same time as possible. THE MAIN SITE IS COLLINS HILL ATHLETIC CLUB - CHAC ON THE DRAWS. The satellite sites are as follows. Apalachee Farm which is FARM on the draws. Edgewater which is EDGE on the draws. Rhodes Jordan Park which is RODES on the draws. Rock Springs Park which is ROCK on the draw sheets. And last but not least is Hamilton Mill. There are two sets of courts at Hamilton Mill, a front set of courts and a back set. We will be using both of them but THEY ARE SEPARATE SITES and are listed as such on the draws. HM1 is the front set of courts. We will not have access to the courts here until Sunday. HM2 is the back of set of courts and we will be using this part of Hamilton Mill on Saturday and Sunday both. Directions to each facility will follow this note. We will have printed directions to & from the various sites available at each and every site when the tournament starts. If you do get lost and are still wandering around after midnight please call the Tournament Director on his cell phone and he will help.
