*** Bacdraw / Consolation Participants ***
If you are in the backdraw / consolation brackets make sure you check your draw. If the seed, or a player in your quarter, had a bye in the first round and lost in the second you may have an extra match to play in the consolation rounds. It is your responsibility to check the draws and be present to play your next match if the person with a bye loses and falls into the consolation bracket as your next opponent.

Match Tie Break
Due to our large number of entries and the number of matches that will occur, we will use the match tie break in place of the third set. If the first 2 sets of a match are split, the match tie break will determine the winner. The match tie break is the same as a set tie break except for the winner will be the first to 10 points by a 2 point margin.

Amateurs - ITA reimbursement forms
One of the key areas of concern is that all amateurs, and especially college players, make sure they comply with all rules and regulations so that no one jeopordizes their collegiate eligibility. Since this is a prize money tournament, you MUST have the permission of your collegiate coach, university athletic department and the league of which your school is a member. This link is to the ITA and yo can download the forms required if you seek any forms of reimbursement for expenses. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make sure all rules are complied with, not the tournaments or adminstrators.

Area Hotels
Though Elysium Tennis Club has a Plain City mailing address, the club is located on the western edge of Dublin, on the northwest edge of Columbus, Ohio, right next to the home course of Jack Nicklaus and Muirfield Golf Club. From experience, to get the best deals, it is best to call hotels directly, rather than going through their corporate reservation desk, usually located in another country. The phone numbers are listed for each hotel. Here is a list of the hotels that are closest to the tennis club. They are all located on the I-270 outerbelt or Route 33 on the Northwest side of Columbus, and are within three miles and a five minute drive of the club.
