Boulder Country Club Junior Open

Welcome to the 2009 Boulder Country Club Junior Open. Matches are played indoors and outdoors at Boulder Country Club. TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER. PLEASE CHECK THE WEB SITE. The draws and any information regarding scheduling are posted on this web site. Please remember that only your first match time is guaranteed. If you win your first match, double check with the staff regarding your next time. SCHEDULE REQUESTS ARE NOT POSSIBLE. If players agree to play off-site on their own, please contact the tournament staff prior to playing for approval.

Players are responsible for checking first match times on this web site or by calling 303.530.3328 after 6 PM on Monday, May 4. Please check in for your match 15 minutes prior to the start time. All matches are two sets, with the match being decided by a 10 point tie-breaker. This is done to alleviate scheduling problems. Finals are a full two out of three sets. Warm up is limited to 5 minutes, including serves. Play starts at 4:00 pm on Thursday and Friday, and at 8:00 am on Saturday and Sunday.

If you are running late, please call and let us know. The penalty for being five minutes late is loss of toss, the penalty for being six to ten minutes late is loss of toss and loss of one game, and the penalty for being eleven to fifteen minutes late is loss of toss and loss of three games. Out of fairness, these penalties are put into effect regardless if we are contacted. Players are defaulted if more than fifteen minutes late. If the player is more than fifteen minutes late and their opponent agrees to play the match, the match will be played.

Directions to BCC: Follow Highway 36 west to the Foothills exit. Take Foothills Parkway to Arapahoe Road and turn right. Take Arapahoe east approximately 3 miles to 75th St. and turn left. Take 75th north to Clubhouse Road and turn left. BCC is 3 blocks straight ahead. FROM I-25 go north to Highway 52. Go west on Hwy. 52 to 95th St. Go left on 95th to Lookout Rd. Go right on Lookout to 75th St. Turn left on 75th and go to Clubhouse Rd. (the first right) and turn right on Clubhouse Rd.

Because the tournament is smaller this year, the finals will be played on Sunday.
