As most are aware, seeding is done 100% by the computer-generated, current, valley standings. Moreover, the draws, too, are computer-created.

At the conclusion of each match, each player will be given a "Next Match Card." Please keep this card and bring it with you when you check in for your next match. If you are told the wrong time, and you have proof on the match card, you will receive no penalty however, without the match card, appropriate penalties apply. The tournament committee tried to minimize site changes throughout the tournament however, there are a few instances when planning has necessitated same-day site changes. This will pose no awkwardness, as all sites are 10 minutes from each other and players will receive sufficient rest and travel times. Thank you in advance for your patience. Parking is free everywhere but at SIUe. They have meters and at the Rendleman Center, you can purchase a day pass for $2. Please be aware of the parking situation at SIUe.

Doubles is included with your entry fee. However, you don't have to play doubles. When players check in on Friday, please notify the Site Director of your doubles intention. You have 3 options: "I chose not play," "I'll play with anyone," or, "I have spoken with so-and-so, and we will play together." You must notify the Site Director by 5 p.m. on Friday.The doubles draws will be completed after 5 on Friday and all doubles times will be posted online late Friday night, or, at the latest, by 9 Saturday morning. In addition, all Site Directors at all sites will have complete copies of all draws for time verification on Saturday morning. The doubles will not begin before 1:00 Saturday afternoon. Most of the doubles will be played late Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. If you have a conflict Saturday night, you probably should not play doubles.

You do not to check in at EHS if you play at another site. You can check in wherever you play. Please check in at least 15 minutes early.

The draws are completed. No more singles entries will be accepted. Please email tournamentinfo@lipetennis.com for doubles requests. Times will be posted Wednesday morning.

We plan to begin play Friday morning at 8 a.m. The larger draws (16's and 18's) will begin earlier on Friday (8 a.m. in most cases) the smaller draws usually begin a little later on Friday. This doesn't mean that you will absolutely play at 8 a.m. on Friday. Please check the draws online on Thursday morning for exact times and locations.

As a courtesy to the players, they will be allowed 10 minutes to warm up with their opponents before their first match of the day. Thereafter, they will only be allowed 5 minutes of warm up time with their opponents. Warm up courts are available on a public-walk on basis at Township Park located on Center Grove Road just one half mile east of EHS.
