Future Match Info Report

We had an unexpectedly large number of entries into this tournament, far more that we can handle with the available court time. As a result, we regret that we must reduce the size of the draws to a maximum of either 16 or 8 (thus eliminating first round byes). USTA rules require that players be selected into the draw based on ranking ... the highest ranked players placed into the draw first, etc. The Competitors list (link to the left or above) lists the players who have been accepted into the draws. Those who applied but are not listed as a Competitor did not make it into the draws, but could be added to the draw should there be a withdrawl. Those who do not make it into the tournament will be issued a refund, in the form of a check, sent approx. 10 days after the end of the tournament (that is approx. how long it takes for us to be paid by the USTA.)

First and second round match times have been posted on the draws to help players schedule their weekend. However, ONLY FIRST MATCH TIMES ARE CERTAIN. SUBSEQUENT MATCH TIMES ARE TENTATIVE, AND MUST BE CONFIRMED AT THE TOURNAMENT DESK AFTER THE COMPLETION OF YOUR FIRST MATCH.

All matches will be the best 2 of 3 sets, with a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of the third set

Draws will posted Friday afternoon, March 13, on the internet and at the club

The tournament committee reserves the right to limit the draw sizes to accomodate scheduling, using USTA guidelines as spelled out in Friend At Court
