Please check on the draw for the code that refers to your match location. All matches on Friday are at Millbrook Exchange Tennis Center. On Saturday there are 5 locations and on Sunday there are 3 locations.

Sanderson High School (Optimist Park) tennis courts. 5900 Dixon Dr. From 440 take Six Forks Rd North exit for 2 miles, turn left on Millbrook Rd. for ¾ mile, turn right on Dixon Dr., turn right into Sanderson High School and courts are located at the end of the parking lot. Worth: Worthdale Community Center - 6 hard courts
Worthdale Community Center tennis courts. Worthdale Park, 1001 Cooper Road, Take 440 east to Poole Road Exit. Head into town. Go 1 ½ miles. Turn left on Cooper Rd. Worthdale Park is at the end of Cooper Rd. Directions are also available at Millbrook Exchange Tennis Center. Here is a map of that location.

Lions: Lions Park - 8 hard courts
Lions Park tennis courts, 516 Dennis Ave. From downtown take Capital Blvd. north. Look for Dunkin Donuts. At the stoplight turn right on Fenton St. Go ½ mile, turn right on Watkins St. for one block, turn left on Dennis Ave. The park is on the right. Bilt: Biltmore Hills Community Center - 8 Hard Courts
Biltmore Hills - 2615 Fitzgerald Dr, take 440 south to Rock Quarry Rd exit. (One over from 40 east exit). Go south on Rock Quarry Rd. (Away from town) turn right on Crosslink Rd. Go one mile. Turn right on Dandridge Dr. Turn left on Fitzgerald Dr. Fitzgerald runs into the park. Directions are also available at Millbrook Exchange Tennis Center. Here is a map of that location.

8 and under Quickstart division
This will be one of the first sanctioned 8 and under Quickstart Tournaments in NC. Entrants need to be current USTA members. Play will be held on 36 foot courts with the level 1 Red Ball. This event will be coed(boys and girls in the same group). The draw will be limited to 16 players. If more than 16 players sign up, the 16 competitors are chosen (selected) by lot. You must enter online through USTA Tennislink. No phone entries allowed. The fee is $13 and players are guaranteed 3 matches. Players must be 8 years of age or younger. Tips for players and parents
1. Water - Bring a water jug full of ice water. It's going to be hot this weekend!
2. Sunscreen - Put on sunscreen and reapply between matches.
3. 2nd racquet - Bring a second racquet in case the first one breaks.
4. Towel - Bring one
5. Check in to the tournament desk at least 30 minutes before your match, your match may start early. If you're late, you will be penalized, if you're more than 15 minutes late you will be defaulted.
6. Officials - If you have questions during your match signal the on site roving official/umpire and they will come answer your question, do not leave the court without talking to the roving official.
7. Eat a good breakfast and come have fun playing this weekend!

Tournament Check In
Players may report directly to their first match site to check in and drop off their waiver form. Blank waivers will be available at each site.

Players' Responsibilities
It is the player's responsibility to know their next match time and show up in a timely manner. Check the website often for updated match times.

T-Shirts
A tournament t-shirt will be given to each participant when you fill out and drop off your waiver at your tournament site location.

Lunch
6" Subway subs will be brought to each location before 12noon on Saturday along with drinks. There will be turkey or ham with cheese, lettuce and tomato. You can pull off what you don't like. There will be mayo + mustard packets too. Please bring your own lunch if you don't want to eat this so that you can stay at your location until you are done with the tournament.

Match format
8 and under Quickstart will play 2 out of 3 games to 7 points (win by one point). Play will be on Sunday.
All other divisions will be 2 out of 3 sets using a 10 point match tie-break if a 3rd set is needed. Players may play 1 match Friday, up to 3 matches on Saturday and up to 3 on Sunday, though most will play fewer matches. Anyone who loses their very first match will be in the consolation tournament.

Eligibility for Futures Players
Futures Junior Tournaments are open to all players except those with the following state standings:
Boys&Girls 10's 1-10, Boys&Girls 12's, 14's, 16's 1-80, Boys&Girls 18's 1-50
Standings used to determine eligibility for a novice event are the Final Standings from the month prior to the tournament’s entry deadline. The final standings of a month are the standings published on or near the last day of that month. Once a player is ineligible s/he may become eligible again if his/her ranking falls outside the above standing range . A PLAYER INELIGIBLE TO PLAY FUTURES IN ANY AGE DIVISION IS INELIGIBLE TO PLAY FUTURES IN ALL AGE DIVISIONS.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, May 31, 2009 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
