We will likely begin the 18s on Saturday and schedule around the avoidances.

If you are playing someone from Frankfort on Monday or beyond, the matches will be scheduled normal, but will not begin until 6pm since they will be taking finals. You will be contacted directly on Sunday evening if you are affected by this. Thank you in advance!
Avoidances: Please contact Aaron Browning at abrowning@kentuckytennis.com if your child is still in school on June 8th, 9th, 10th, or 11th. Providing this information in advance allows us to properly prepare, however calling the week of the tournament is too late. Also, please let us know if you are taking the SAT on Saturday, June 6th.

Tennis Parent
Junior tennis should be a fun and rewarding experience for our children. Character building lessons such as hard work, discipline, sportsmanship, and handling adversity are regularly on display. Parents of junior players should also enjoy the time spent with their children and watching them develop not just into better tennis players, but into good citizens. Regrettably, USTA Southern has encountered a disturbing trend over the past few years involving parents of junior players.
Poor or negative behavior by a parent(s) can result in in many infractions. For instance, a player can receive a Code Violation, parents can be asked to be quiet, leave the tournament site/facility, or be suspended from attending tournaments for 90 days.
|
Doubles Partners & Doubles Information
Doubles play will begin Saturday. It is possible that doubles will be played first thing in the morning (before singles).
Please remember that Doubles results are now part of one's ranking and standing. 15% of one's best 6 doubles results are added to 100% of their best 6 singles results to form the new Combined Ranking.
