SUNSET HILLS CC WEST GA JR CHAMPIONSHIP - GA LEVEL 4

We are now on a 3 hour rain delay. We have had another band of light rain pass over Carrollton and wet the courts. The radar is scattered and we are hoping to get back on the courts at noon. ALL TIMES ON THE DRAW ARE UPDATED AND CORRECT. THE TIME YOU SEEN NOW ON THE DRAW IS YOUR CORRECT MATCH TIME.

We have had a mist roll over the courts and are now on a 1 hour delay. The radar looks like we should be alright after we get the hard court dry. Please check back before you leave for Sunset Hill for any additional delays. ALL MATCH TIMES ON THE DRAWS HAVE BEEN UPDATED AND ARE CORRECT.

The courts are dry, play will begin as scheduled. Any further weather updates will be posted here, please check before you leave for Carrollton.

from atlanta: (approximately 50 miles) travel i-20 west to exit 24 (hwy. 61)-at the traffic light turn left and go across the bridge onto hwy. 61 south. travel approximately 12 miles to the intersection of hwy. 61 & 166 by pass - turn left on the 166 by pass at the traffic light. (this is 166 west, past the movie theater,ford dealership, and longhorn steakhouse, not 166 east which you will pass first) travel approximately 6 miles on the 166 by pass till it dead ends into maple street – at the traffic light turn right onto maple street – travel approximately 1 mile on maple street – turn right onto club drive at the sunset hills country club sign. (across from the university of west georgia). continue traveling on club drive to the stop sign - turn right at the stop sign onto west club drive - the club house is on the left.

In the unlikely event that the entire tournament is rained out (meaning that no match is able to play a single point), then we offer the following options for our players. 1) We will offer you a fifty percent (50%) discount off your entry fee into any other tournament hosted by Sunset Hills Country Club within a 12-month calendar period or 2) we will refund one half (1/2) of your entry fee, by check. If you wish to receive the discount for a future tournament, simply email us to enter the future tournament, DO NOT ENTER ON-LINE, and we will manually enter you at the discounted rate. We appreciate your understanding that tournaments have numerous fixed costs prior to every tournament and during the delays incurred by inclement weather, including but not limited to t-shirts, trophies, usta fees, and staff. If you signed up on-line the tennislink fee was added by the USTA and is non-refundable ($3.00).
