Men's Futures Wildcard Tournament

The winner of the men's open singles will receive a wild card into the main draw and the runner-up will receive a wild card into the qualifying draw of the USTA/Ursula Beck Men's Pro Tennis Classic. This Men's $10,000 Futures Event runs August 4-August 9, 2009 with qualifying beginning July 31, 2009.

The Fairview Park Tennis Complex was named a USTA Outstanding Tennis Facility in 2008.

Seeding

The seeding for the Men's Open used the USTA Men's National Open Rankings. All other events used the most current USTA/Middle Illinois Rankings

Scoring

Matches are two sets with a match tie breaker in lieu of third set through quarterfinals. 2 out of 3 sets for semis and finals. First Match Losers Consolation for singles only.

Doubles

Doubles players may sign up until 12 noon on Saturday. Doubles play will not begin before 2 pm Saturday.
