Sportsmanship Award Winners
Congratulations to the 2009 Sportsmanship Award winners: Alok Nimgaonkar and Kylie Isaacs. Thank You for a Great Tournament
The 12th Annual Fox Chapel Junior Open concluded at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6 with the Boys' 18 Doubles final. Photos of all trophy winners and action photos taken during the tournament will be posted on the Allegheny Mountain District website (www.AMD.USTA.com) shortly. There were 256 singles entries and 69 doubles teams entered in this year's tournament. A total of 409 matches were played in 3-1/2 days of competition. A special thanks to the Fox Chapel Racquet Club for the use of its 9 Har-Tru courts for all days of the tournament and to the Fox Chapel Golf Club, the Pittsburgh Field Club, Shadyside Academy and Fox Chapel Area High School for the use of their courts.

Ranking Points: Double That of a Standard Tournament
This tournament is one of four “Designated” Tournaments in the USTA's Allegheny Mountain District. It awards twice the normal amount of district ranking points as a standard district tournament. This tournament also awards Middle States Sectional ranking points.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, July 27, 2009 5:00:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
