The Club at Rawls Creek Spring Adult Championship - SC L 4

The rain last Friday, Saturday, & Sunday made it impossible to play The Rawls Creek Adult Spring Championship during the scheduled Sanction Period. The Rawls Creek Tournament Committee has decided to reschedule the matches and play the tournament Tuesday, March 3 thru Saturday, March 6th because of our obligation to sponsors, participants, and The Club at Rawls Creek. Due to a ruling by SCTA, players will not receive USTA ranking points for this tournament because play is not within the sanctioning dates of the tournament. We will gladly return the entry fee to anyone that would like to withdraw from the tournament. We will have our 2nd players party on Friday, March 6th at 6:30PM. Food will be furnished by Carolina Ale House. Thanks to all the players and their great attitudes and cooperation during the horrible weather conditions and the rescheudling process.

Matches will begin at 5:00 PM, Friday, February 27. If you have a time conflict, please e-mail the details, along with contact information, prior to the deadline. We will make every effort to accommodate players if possible. First match times will be available on-line at 7:00 PM Wednesday, February 25th. Draws will not be published on-line until Friday, February 27th.

If your match has a "C" beside the scheduled time, that indicates that your match is scheduled for a clay court. If it has an "H" your match is scheduled to be played on a hard court. It does not specify a site.

A First Match Losers Consolation (FMLC) will be offered in singles and doubles (not mixed). You must inform the tournament desk after losing your first match if you want to participate in the consolation event.

All matches will play a match tie-break (10 points) for the 3rd set. No-ad scoring may be implemented in case of inclement weather.

Draw will be made on Monday. There will be no refunds for withdrawals after the draw has been made. * USTA Rules will be observed. Point penalty system will be used. * Warm-up is limited to 5 minutes. * The tournament referee will be the judge in all matters related to matches. * Referee reserves the right to change court surfaces in order to facilitate continuous play. * Players should register 1/2 hour prior to matches. * Check-in for all matches will be at Rawls Creek pro shop. If your match is sent to an alternate site, directions will be available at court assignment. * The Wilson US Open ball will be used for play.
