COMPASS DRAW PROCEDURES
AT THE END OF ROUND 1: -Winners go EAST -- Losers go WEST
AT THE END OF ROUND 2: EAST losers go NORTH -- WEST Losers go SOUTH
AT THE END OF ROUND 3: --EAST losers go NORTHEAST --NORTH losers go NORTHWEST --WEST losers go SOUTHWEST --SOUTH losers go SOUTHEAST
AT THE END OF ROUND 4: The losers are out of the tournament :-( The winners play the finals on each consolation draw sheet. ONLY THOSE PLAYERS WHO ULTIMATELY WIN THE EAST DRAW WILL TAKE HOME THE WINNING PRIZE! Players who only played twice and are told their draw is done need to communicate to the site director that they are in need of their 3rd guaranteed match. Site desks get very busy and it's tough for site directors to keep up with those who have played 2 vs. 3 matches and WE WANT EVERYONE TO PLAY A MINIMUM OF 3 MATCHES! DEFAULT NO SHOWS & WALKOVERS count as a match played as points are awarded for these rounds by USTA TEXAS. However, if we can get you a 3rd match to PLAY, we will make every effort to do so. IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER: You may play more than 3 matches if your draw dictates. NOTE: BYES count as a ROUND for directional draw purposes only and are not part of your 3 guaranteed matches.
