We are still trying to get our MAIN DRAW matches played to completion with an obvious shortened format. The estimated and I hope realistic start time is now 3:00 p.m. with ALL MAIN DRAW MATCHES PLAYED AT UT WHITAKER COURTS AT 51st and Guadalupe. All MAIN DRAW MATCHES SHOULD BE ON SITE AT 3:00 EVEN IF YOU WERE SCHEDULED FOR A LATER THAN 8:30 A.M. START TIME. With consolations cancelled, I will have courts available for use.

Drizzle still coming down, courts soaked. No play before 11:00 a.m.

Tournament participants: There is drizzle and anticipated rain today. The courts are currently wet and unplayable. Play will be delayed until 10:00 a.m. 8:30 matches will play at 10:00. 9:30 matches will play at 11:00 etc. Please check back to this homepage for continued updates as needed.

TOURNAMENT PARTICIPANTS: The sun is shining in Austin and it's cold. There is no delay anticipated for the start of the Austin Champ Major Zone beginning at 8:30 a.m. 12/5/09. Should weather conditions dramatically deteriorate between now and 6:00 p.m. I will update this homepage.

Tournament Participants: Weather forecast for the Austin area is little to NO precipitation anticipated, especially after 6:00 p.m. No delays are anticipated at this time. If weather in our area deteriorates, updates will be made to this homepage.

PARENTS, PLAYERS AND COACHES Please do not call the cell numbers listed beside each site. Most of the numbers listed are my site directors PERSONAL CELL PHONE NUMBERS who are not expected to respond to calls regarding the tournament until tournament start on Saturday morning. You can always check the maps link for the telephone numbers to the actual site.

Parents, players, and coaches Parking at St. Stephen's is only provided for at the gymnasium. There is a bit of a hike up to the courts so you'll want to be sure and have ALL your necessary supplies with you. Water is NOT provided for on these courts. Directions to the gym: If you're heading South on Capital of Texas Hwy (also known as Hwy 360), you will take a right onto Westlake Dr. and follow it to St. Stephen's Dr. where you will take a right. (You'll immediately see a guard station after you've turned right.) Follow St. Stephen's Dr. straight. It will dead end at the gymnasium. Follow the track and field up to the courts. Please allow extra time to find this site and get to the tournament desk.

Parents and Players Many entrants do not have telephone numbers or email addresses associated with our tournament entry software. For this reason, please re-check your draw and match times frequently up to tournament start. The tournament will continue to publish withdrawals and your first-round match times may change.

Come prepared for COLD weather, but hopefully no moisture. Dress WARM! In the event of inclement weather preventing play, this homepage will be periodically updated with anticipated times for resumption of play.

TO ALL TOURNAMENT PLAYERS: We do have several sites that do not provide water on the courts therefore, you will want to come fully prepared with food, drink, ice, towels, and change of clothes for your matches so that you can play within you comfort zone.
Also, remember to turn off ALL electronic devices (cell phones etc) before entering the courts for play.
