Draws are posted! Please note that some Sunday match times are not
posted. There are several players in multiple events. As the draws
in each event proceed, we will know the Sunday match times of these
events.
Tournament desk is at Sunnyvale Tennis Center ("STC" on draw
sheets), 755 S. Mathilda Ave., Sunnyvale. A satellite site at
Cuesta Park ("CUE" on draw sheets) in Mountain View will also be
used. Please check in at the site where your match is to be played.
Extra time will not be granted if you check in at the wrong site,
so please make sure to check in at the correct site for your
match.
All matches up to and including the quarterfinals are best two out
of three sets with a 10 point Match Tiebreak in lieu of a
third set. The format for all semis and finals is best two out of
three full sets. This applies to all events, singles and doubles.
Friday night matches will be primarily Mens 3.5/4.0/4.5 Singles.
However other divisions may be scheduled on Friday in order to
resolve conflicts for players in more than one event. Friday
matches will not begin before 6 PM unless players agree to an
earlier start time. Draws will be limited to 32 entries so that all
divisions can be completed in one weekend. Unfortunately, court
limitations prevent us from offering 3rd/4th place matches.
Players must play all matches within the same level. e.g. a 4.0 may
play 4.0s/X4.0d or 4.5d/X4.5d, but not 4.0s/4.5d.

Doubles Entries -Both players must register and pay
When registering for doubles, it is important that both players
register online and submit their credit card information. Verify
that each player's name appears as a separate entry on the
applicants list (not just as the partner of the other player). If
both players have not paid by the tournament deadline, you may not
be accepted into the tournament.
TD Selection Process
We use this process because it makes it easier to not have to
refund money if a draw is too large to allow entry to everyone
registered. You will receive confirmation when you register that
your credit card has been charged $0, this is because you are not
charged until entries close and we process your entries. Once we
process entries, you will receive an automated email from Tennis
Link- it is then when you will be receive a charge on your credit
card.
Withdrawal Information
If you are not able to play in the tournament and entries are still
open, you may withdraw online. If entries have closed, you must
withdraw before draws are posted or within 7 days from the start of
the tournament, whichever comes first in order to receive a refund.
Refunds granted after entries close will be sent after the
completion of the tournament.
Player Selection TypePlayers are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, August 19, 2009 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
