Friday Matches July 31
The forecast today is for heavy rain. We will of course try to hold the matches outdoors. If that proves impossible, we will move indoors to Farmington Valley Racquet Club. 241 Hopmeadow Rd Simsbury. We will complete todays schedule as shown. 55 Consolation players should be prepared to play first rounds tonight

August 1
Today we will move back outside on our perfect clay courts. Play begins at 8 am with consolation rounds. 55 Consolation, if you wish to participate, begins after lunch. At 11:30 we serve lunch for all competitors. Guest fee for lunch is $10. Please check online for start times for all main draws.

Sunday Finals
Torrential rains are forecast for today. All singles finals are scheduled for 9 am.

ADULT SECTIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT(S) - for any Sectional Championship event listed above and on the Sectional-Designated events table:
1) Any eligible USTA member may register (there is no New England address requirement).
2) Consolations will be played including a 3rd/4th playoff match [Round Robin required for 2 or 3 player/team event].
3) Tournament ranking points for Sectional events and other events - see information at ustanewengland.com - adult players - adult tournaments - standings/rankings.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, July 27, 2009 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
