| Draws for this tournament have now been posted. Seeding was done using the 12-month Rolling Standings List as of September 9. Round Robin events were not seeded.

| Updated Competitors |
| On-line registration has closed, but manual entries are still being processed and should be completed by Thursday evening, September 10. Once manual entries are batch entered, players who are in divisions that did not make will be contacted with options of either moving to another eligible division or receiving a refund.

| Welcome to the Arlington Tennis Center's Fall-Apalooza Adult Open! This tournament is a USTA Sanctioned event offering adult NTRP 3.0-4.5 and Open Divisions in Singles and Doubles. ATC is a public facility featuring 20 outdoor lighted tennis courts and a full-service proshop. We carry the latest in tennis racquets and other equipment, and we offer prompt stringing service. | Player Lunch |
| Arlington Tennis Center Fall-Apalooza players are invited to enjoy a player lunch on Saturday, September 19, from 11:30a - 1:30p. Be sure to get your lunch ticket when you check in for the tournament and pick up your player towel!

| Consolation |
| Consolation will be offered in all divisions with regular draws (five or more players). Divisions with three or four players will be round robins.
|
|
|
|
| Eligibility |
- Players who are NTRP eligible may play in this tournament. Note: Players become eligible for levels the month they turn 19 years old.
- Out of Section players may compete
- Players are limited to two events. Players may enter one singles and one doubles, or two doubles.
|
|
| USTA Membership Required |
| The ATC Fall-Apalooza Adult Open is a USTA sanctioned tournament, and USTA Membership is required to participate. Your USTA membership info is the official data downloaded and used by the tournament staff. Cell phone numbers and email addresses are helpful.
|
|
|
|
| Doubles |
- Remember that players MUST register for Doubles with a partner.
- Once the deadline passes, players whose partners did not register (or who are not eligible) may be removed from the tournament.
- Before the deadline and before registering for Doubles, confirm your partner is playing, that he/she is eligible, and that he/she is playing with you, not someone else.
- Remember that your partner must be playing in the same age division in Singles and Doubles.

| Withdrawing |
| Please let us know as early as possible if you must withdraw so that we can contact the opponents and update draws timely. Withdrawals must be made via email prior to the start of the tournament. Once the tournament begins (Friday evening), please contact THE REFEREE at ATC with verbal withdrawals. Do not leave a message with the customer service staff.

| See Competitors for players who are playing in the tournament. Choose individual doubles divisions to confirm partners. This list will be updated as information (e.g., eligibility, withdrawals) is available.

| Event Information |
| All events with five or more entries will be first match loser consolation. If three or four players/teams are entered, the event will be a round robin. Some events with fewer than three players may be combined with another division. Players will be contacted (if contact information is available).
|
|
| Format |
| The format for this tournament is best of three full sets, regular scoring. Alternative scoring may be used (see below). The Coman Tiebreak will be used when a set reaches six all. (Coman Tiebreak: Players change ends after the first point, and thereafter every fourth point.)
|
|
| Alternative Scoring |
If the Referee elects to use alternative scoring (e.g., 10-point Match Tiebreak) due to extreme heat or other weather related issues, please note:- Players take only a two-minute break after the second set (not a 10-minute break).
- Players do not leave the court (they go directly into the 10-point tiebreak after the two-minute set break).
- Players do not receive new balls for 10-point Match Tiebreaks.
- A decision regarding alternative scoring may not be made until shortly before matches begin. Players will be advised of the alternative scoring before they go on court for their matches.

| Draws |
| Draws for this tournament will be posted by Monday evening, 6:00 PM, September 14. Draws will be updated nightly during the tournament, with final results reported to local newspapers.
|
|
| Seeding |
| Seeding for this tournament may be based on rankings, current records and head-to-head encounters.
|
|
| Schedule of Play |
| This tournament begins Friday, September 18. Some draws may not begin play until Saturday, September 19.
|
|

| If rain is an issue, we will provide updates on the information line, 817-459-6166, as well as on this website. If in doubt, please show up ready to play at your scheduled match time.

| Awards |
| Awards will be given for First, Second and Consolation in all divisions.
|
|
| Officials |
| All officials for this tournament are USTA certified, and the USTA code of conduct will be enforced. Court monitors may also be used, as needed.
|
|
|
|
| Practice Courts |
| Practice courts will not be available at Arlington Tennis Center. Practice courts are available at area park courts on a first come, first served basis.

|
|

|
| Wireless Internet |
| Arlington Tennis Center is pleased to provide free wireless Internet to our guests.

| Racquet Stringing |
| ATC’s stringing staff is among the most experienced in our area, and we will offer 24-hour service for tournament players during the three-day event. In addition, demo racquets are available on site at ATC for a small fee.

|
| Official Ball: Penn |
| The official tournament balls are Penn Championship Yellow Extra Duty. A new can of balls will be distributed for each match and for split sets (if playing a full third set).
|
|
|
|
| Videotaping |
| Personal videotaping and photography is not allowed, except at the request of the players and from a non-distracting position off court. The umpire may direct the videotaping or photography to stop if it is determined by the official as interfering or distracting to either player.
|
|
| Advance Planning |
- Spectators are not allowed on courts at any time.
- No pets are allowed in the ATC proshop/building or inside the fenced area around the courts.
- Smoking is not allowed in the ATC proshop/building or inside fenced areas.
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the ATC property (including the parking lot).

| Water on Courts |
| Water coolers are not on placed on ATC courts. However, free cups, are available in the proshop, and a commercial ice machine and water fountain are located on the west patio. In addition, players are welcome to purchase bottled water, fountain drinks, sports drinks and juices in the proshop. Players may also bring their own water jugs on court.

| Cell Phones |
| Please note that players may NOT use cell phones on court or at the tournament/site desks. Please turn them OFF. Spectators who use cell phones around the courts either at ATC or at alternate sites should be mindful of whether their conversations interfere with tournament play (in which case, they will be asked to leave the area or turn the phone off) or normal business operations at ATC. Thank you for your cooperation.

| Dress Code |
- We ask that all players and spectators at ATC wear traditional attire appropriate for a family tennis environment.
- All guests (players and spectators) are required to wear shirts (including ladies wearing shirts over sports bras), and no bare stomachs / abdomens.
- Shorts and skirts should be of an appropriate length, as well.

| Arlington Tennis Center is located directly across the street from Medical Center of Arlington, one of our area's largest hospitals. In addition, Medical Center of Arlington has a state of the art, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center. We hope you do NOT require its services!
