Acceptance Lists

Notification of Main Draw & Qualifying acceptance will be sent to Federations and posted on www.usta.com, October 29, 2008. Criteria for acceptance are WTA, ATP, ITF, ETA, COSAT, and Federation “order of merit”. ONLY Main Draw Singles players may play doubles, unless approved by the tournament committee. 8 singles players qualify forthe main draw. ***Players may only enter one age division for singles and doubles.

Qualifying: BG16: Registration, Thursday, December 4, 2008 Play: December 5-7, 2008. BG18: Qualifying Registration, Friday, December 5, 2008 Play: December 6-7, 2008. Main Draw: Registration: BG16 Saturday, December 6, 2008 Play: Sunday, December 7-13, 2008. BG18 Registration: Sunday, December 7, 2008 Play: Monday December 8-14, 2008.

Draw Size

Please note that the Dunlop Orange Bowl BG18 is a 64 maindraw and 64 qualifying draw. The BG16 is a 64 main draw Boys Qualifying 128 draw, Girls Qualifying 64 draw.

Ranking

This is an ITF Grade A Tournament. The 16s division will receive Level 3 round points and bonus points. The 18s division will only receive bonus points.

Messages

The 16's events of the USTA Orange Bowl International Tennis Championship uses ITF age eligibility. In order to be age-eligible for the tournament, players must be born January 1, 2004, or later. If your birthdate is before this date, please do not register. Players must be 13 by start of the main draw.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
