Pre-Endorsement Process
Please note that a player must play the Pre-endorsement in the region in which he resides.
The Segment II Endorsement tournaments for boys age divisions 14, 16, and 18 will be divided into a pre-endorsement stage and an endorsement stage. The state will be divided into four regions, each of which will host a pre-endorsement tournament. The pre-endorsement tournament will be held the second weekend in May. The Endorsement tournament will be held the weekend of May 16th in Omaha. The format is a full feed-in to the quarter finals for the Pre-endorsement. The top 8 places from each pre-endorsement region qualify for the Endorsement tournament. The Endorsement tournament will consist of a full feed-in to the semi finals with the third place finisher able to challenge the second place finisher if they had not previously played in the tournament. The top 2 finishers in the Endorsement tournament will be awarded the Nebraska endorsement spots for Segment 2. The four regions would be the East region, consisting of the Omaha/Council Bluffs Metropolitan area, the North region, consisting of the cities of Fremont, York, Columbus, Norfolk, Wayne and any other community east of Highway 281 and North of I-80, the West region, consisting of the cities of Grand Island, North Platte, Hastings, Kearney and any other community west of Highway 281, and the South region consisting of Lincoln, Beatrice, Auburn, Nebraska City and any community south of I-80 and east of Highway 281.

Format and Rules
Player must be a member of the USTA. Memberships may be purchased on-line at USTA.com. Check in 20 minutes before scheduled match. Each match is best of three sets. Feed-in-consolation, using a format of best of three sets with a match tiebreaker instead of a third set. The referee has the discretion to convert matches in any round to best of three sets with a match tie-break in lieu of the third set.The pre-endorsement tournament is full feed through the quarterfinals.

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, May 4, 2008 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
