Scyamore Jr High SATURDAYS MATCHES
First of all I would like to THANK all of you for supporting my tournament and So. Cal Junior Tennis. Now about yesterday, for 2 months planning this tournament securing sites to play, scheduling etc…. I was assured that each site would be open on a timely basis. Saturday morning at 5:30 am I went to each location to make sure the sites were open. Seeing that Sycamore Jr High was NOT open, 6:15 am I starting calling the emergency phone number provided by the City for this purpose. The person that answered did not know about the event?? She said she would look into it and get back to me….. So I checked back at 7am NOTHING, my on site help arrived 7:30 still no gates opened. I again called, she was working on it. Now we are at 8am players have arrived and no gates opened. Also to my embarrassment the official that I hired was not there. I left the main site to try to find another site PLAN B, I got back at 8:45 with another site secured and sure enough at 8:50 they were opened. I want to apologize for your time, I am very sensitive to your time and the timeliness of which my tournament runs. I wanted to let all of you know how upset I was and how much it bothers me when things like this happen. Thanks again for your support. Dave

PLAYERS IN CALIFORNIA BOWL & ANAHEIM
If you are in the California Bowl and the Anaheim tournament and you did not request permission to do so, you are in violation of USTA Regulation IV.C.11. You will receive at minimum a letter of censure from the SCTA and since the California Bowl is on the National Junior Tournament Schedule, you will receive 5 national suspension points once the tournament is over.

You have until the Deadline tonight 12 midnight (SUNDAY) to go ONLINE and withdraw if you are NOT going to play. NO REFUNDS after midnight tonight. thank you Dave

California Bowl..........
Well if you are entered in the Cal Bowl and are not in main draw or at least TOP 10 on Alt. list your probable not going to get in. I will need to get this tournament POSTED ONLINE by Wednesday evening. I will try to get players in up to Tuesday 5 pm. If you want to play PLEASE ENTER BEFORE THEN. Thanks and Good Luck. Dave

Tournament Format
Please ONE Singles and ONE doubles ONLY. When players try to play 3 events where is just not enough time to get in the matches. Doubles format will be 2 sets with a 10 point Tie-Breaker for 3rd. Boys and Girls 10 and 12 Singles and doubles division will play 2 sets with 10 point Tie-Breaker for 3rd.
