Tournament Format
All draws will be a round robin format. All matches will be played for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes is complete "time" will be called and all matches will be stopped. There will be a five minute break between each match for the rotation. The team with the least amount of games will be the winner, the next least amount will be the runner-up, etc. If there is a tie for first place a match tie-break will be played to determine the winner.

Checking In
All players playing at 11AM need to check-in by 10:45AM. All players playing at 2PM need to check-in by 1:45PM.

Practice Courts
For all 11AM matches there will be nine practice courts available at 10AM. For the 2PM matches there will be nine courts available around 1:30PM.

Player Gifts
Player gifts (sweatshirts and bag tags) will be given to all players. Snacks and water will also be provided.

Take the De La Cruz Boulevard/Santa Clara exit, Follow De La Cruz Boulevard towards El Camino Real (stay in the right lane), When De La Cruz Boulevard splits, follow the right split over the overpass, Turn right on Lafayette Street staying in the right turn lane, Turn right at El Camino Real, The main entrance to Santa Clara University will be on the right-hand side of the road.

What to do if it ranis!
Please check this homepage to see if the tournament has been moved to Sunday, December 2. If the tournament does get moved to Sunday, all matches will be scheduled at the same time as on Saturday. If any changes are made to the schedule we will post them on the tournament homepage. Please make sure that you check the tournament homepage before leaving your house!

What is the Herb Cup?
The Peter Herb Cup is named in honor of the former executive director of the USTA Northern California section for 40 years. We are very excited about hosting this event for third year for the top eight players in the 12, 14, 16 and 18's divisions. Players will be selected from the double Final Ranking Lists from January 1, 2007 to October 2007. The goal of this event is to encourage junior players to compete in doubles events throughout the year.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
