Seeds Are Posted - Now in Players by Event Report
Seeds have been posted since Saturday at 1PM using all ranking information and the tournament records available (published on 10/8) for every player considered for seeding. Ample opportunity has been given to discuss seeding. Please do not offer any further seeding discussion after 10AM Wednesday. In case of withdrawals we have ordered players through 11 or 12 places. This means if you had a chance of being in the top eight, your player record was considered by the seeding committee and you still may become a seed if a current seed withdraws.
The 5-8 seeds are all numbered "5" because they are placed randomly in the draw on the 5-8 lines and there is no advantage of being a #5 over a #8.

Match Check-in Procedure
NEW RULE FOR MATCH CHECK IN:
Regulation IV.A.2 now states "The referee may penalize a player who is on site for lateness if a court is available and the player has failed to check in at the tournament desk by the scheduled match time."
THIS MEANS, IF THERE IS 1 OPEN COURT AT 10:00 AND THERE ARE 3 MATCHES TO PUT ON, THE REFEREE WILL START THE CLOCK FOR LATENESS FOR ANYONE WHO HAS NOT CHECKED IN FOR 10:00 - EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH COURTS FOR ALL 3 MATCHES.
Once you have checked in, please stay near the tournament desk until we tell you the court assignment. You must be where you can hear us call your name after you check in.
AFTER YOUR MATCH IS OVER:
1. If you win or lose, report to the tournament desk immediately.
2. Both players must ask for the next match time. Verify your time with the draw that is posted on the board. If there is any difference in the time you were told and the posted time, please address before leaving the site.
