All you need to know about Hotel Courtyard Marriott
We have reserved limited amount of rooms in the Courtyard Marriott that is located 3.2 miles down the Falls of the Neuse Rd from our club. The discounted rate is $99 per night. To reserve the room, clinck on the link and enter code RRCRRCA for King room and RRCRRCB for Qeen/Qeen room. After that, just enter the arrival date to begin the reservation process.

Directions to the hotel from the club:
1. Turn left from the club onto Falls of Neuse Rd.
2. Go straight down Falls of Neuse Rd for about 3.2 miles.
3. Right after you pass the beltline, turn right onto Wake Towne Drive. The hotel is on your right.

Format of Play
We play 2 out of 3 sets for singles and doubles unless specified otherwise

Updates during the tournament
Please check the tournament website during the tournament for updates especially during the inclement weather.

Consolation
Consolation will be offered for all singles and doubles events. PLAYERS MUST SIGNUP FOR CONSOLATION AT THE DESK PRIOR TO THEIR FIRST MATCH LOSS IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN CONSOLATION. Consolation play will be best two out of three sets with a match tiebreaker in leau of the third set.

There will be 4 indoor clay courts used in case of inclement weather.

Directions to Raleigh Racquet Club from West/Greensboro Area
Take I-40 W toward Burlington/ Durham. Take the Raleigh/ Chapel Hill Expressway exit #289 toward Raleigh North/Raleigh East. Take exit I-540 North. Stay on I-540 for about 20 minutes. Take exit Falls of Neuse. Turn right onto Falls of Neuse. You will pass the stoplight at Spring Forest Rd.; keep going straight. After the intersection with Spring Forest Rd., there will be a church on your right. The entrance to the RRC is shortly after on your left.

Meals
There are variety of choices if you have not been in the area. You can dine at the restaurant at the Raleigh Racquet Club, Match Point Grille. Besides the Match Point Grille, there are other restaurants close to Raleigh Racquet Club. For example, Winstons Grill is about 1 mile away and Panera about 2 miles down the road. Furthermore, there are grocery stores, such as Harris Teeter and Fresh Market, between 1/2-2 miles from the club.

Friday Dinner
There will be Friday dinner from 5-7pm.
|
|
Massage therapy
We will have massage therapist on site during the event for 10-20 minutes massages. The rates are: $10 for 10 min massage, $15 for 15 min massage and $20 for 20 min massage.

Playing schedule
We may start with the senior matches on Thursday during the day, however, the rest of the matches will be played either on Thursday evening or Friday.
|
|
Friday morning update
We have ten 9am matches. We will start with four of them indoors on our 4 indoor courts. Outdoor courts should be playable between 9:30-10 am. Please check in on time.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, May 4, 2008 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
