If you see an error please notify me immediately as the selections will be made Monday and no corrections of players selected can be made after that. E-mail me at wtfain@charter.net This list could be adjusted prior to selection being made. Selections were made based on the players playing there way in as outlined under each division below and the Southern Standings, the Southern Standing that were used were published on June 5th.We have not selected the Boy's 14's due to a technical error not allowing those standings to be run and posted. The deadline for doubles sign up is 5:00 PM Saturday and play will begin Sunday weather permitting.

We will work on scheduling times after that and hope to have that published by 5:00pm

Selection criteria:

PLAYERS MUST ENTER THE SINGLES EVENT THAT HE OR SHE IS SEEKING ENDORSEMENT INTO THE SOUTHERN CLOSED.
Here is how the selection will be made:
• Of the 12 players to be selected in the B/G 14-18’s, 8 will be selected automatically and must make it to the Semi finals of the Main or the semi finals of the back draw of the age division seeking endorsement to be guaranteed a spot the other 4 spots will be selected by the Junior Comp Committee based on their results in the Age division as well as all of the players results in the rankings/standings and recent head to head results.
• Of the 10 players to be selected in the B/G 12’s, 6 will be selected automatically and must make it to the Semifinals of the Main draw or the Finals of the back draw to be guaranteed a spot the other 4 spots will be selected by the Junior Comp Committee based on their results in the event as well as all of the results in the player’s rankings/standings and recent head to head results.
• Of the 5 players to be selected in the B/G 10’s, 2 will be selected automatically and must make it to the Final’s of the Main draw to be guaranteed a spot the other 3 spots will be selected by the Junior Comp Committee based on their results in the event as well as all of the players results in the rankings/standings and recent head to head results.

• A Maximum of 64 Players per age group will be selected to play in this event.
• This is a level 1 Alabama event and a level 3 Southern event.
• Playing in this event is a requirement to be considered for endorsement to the Southern Closed.

USTA requires a medical release SIGNED BY THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN for every player. This form must be presented at the time of the tournament registration. Prior to the deadline players should withdraw online. After the deadline players needing to withdraw should notify the tournament immediately 334-240-4051. Please be prompt if you must withdraw because Alternates are waiting to enter the tournament.
