WITHDRAWALS
Prior to the deadline players should withdraw online. After the deadline players needing to withdraw should notify the tournament immediately 334-240-4051. Please be prompt if you must withdraw because Alternates are waiting to enter the tournament.

MEDICAL RELEASE FORM
USTA requires a medical release SIGNED BY THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN for every player. This form must be presented at the time of the tournament registration. SCORING FORMAT
Main draw matches will be full 2 out of 3 set matches. Consolation matches will be 2 out of 3 set matches with a match tiebraker(10 point) in place of a 3rd set.

TOURNAMENT HISTORY
The Blue Gray Junior Classic was created as a logical complement to the Blue Gray National Collegiate Classic. The Junior Classic was originally a top 16 tournament that drew nationally ranked players from every section in the country. With the implementation of the point system, the tournament became a Southern Level 3 event. For more information on the Blue Gray National Collegiate Classic please follow this link.

**ATTENTION ALTERNATES**
If you are on the alternate list and you choose to enter another tournament, you must first withdraw from this tournament by calling (334)240-4051.
Also, all alternates need to email the tournament director their contact information so they can be contacted in the event they make it into the tournament.

DO NOT ENTER TWO TOURNAMENTS AT THE SAME TIME
To avoid penalties: If you end up on the alternate list, you must withdraw from that tournament and then you may enter a 2nd tournament. Many tournaments have different deadlines that will allow you time to make changes.

SIGNING UP FOR 2 DIVISIONS
Players are allowed to enter two divisions with these guidelines:
#1. Players selected to both age divisions they apply for, will automatically be selected to the older age division. They will be removed from the other age division.
#2. Players not selected to either divisions would remain on the alternates lists for both divisions but would be obligated to play the division they first get in, from the alt. list. They would be removed from the Alternate list in the other division.
#3. Players selected to one age division would be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected.
#4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.

SELECTION PROCESS
The competitors will be selected from the top 32 players applying from the latest Southern Standings list. The top 28 will be selected from the appropriate age group and up to 4 applicants from the younger age group, who have a standing in the top 40 of the younger group, will also be selected.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Friday, February 29, 2008 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
