Also, I have made updates as we go so please double check your times all the way to Thursday because we are making corrections on some times.

Please submit seeding information if playing outside of region, or most recent results that have not calculated in rankings. If entered online please fax seeding information to 540-362-6553 by the entry deadline - 5pm, Monday 6/16/08. Seeds will posted Tuesday 6/17/08 if there is an appeal please phone 540-580-2291.

RVITT Highlights and Features

One of the premier money tournaments for the Mid-Atlantic. Last year over $2000 was awarded to winners and runner-ups in tournament,$600 to winner of open division. Money is alotted to winners and runner-ups of flights based on number of entries. Named USTA - Virgina Tournament of the Year for 2005 and USTA - Mid-Atlantic Adult Tournament of the Year. Don't miss out, sign up early. Tournament includes music, cookout, player bag, and lots of fun and giveaways. Last year over 250 participants in tournament. A tournament you can not miss!!!

Doubles

The doubles draws for juniors will be open through first day of tournament where we will take names. Adult doubles we will keep open as long as possible to fill more teams, if you are interested please contact me. *E(8)s COMP / Quick Start Format Information*

E(8)s is a Coed 8 & under non-elimination singles division that will use Quick Start Format - Balls, Court Dimensions & Scoring. BALLS (ITF Stage 3 - Foam or Low Compression Felt Balls) COURT DIMENSIONS (36'x18' WITH 2'9" net height) SCORING (best-of-three 7-point games). The Fred Rawlings Memorial

We will be adding the name Fred Rawlings to name of tournament, inclusive we will be awarding 4 scholarships in the name Fred Rawlings.

Awards and Recognition Player Dinner/Party

Awards Dinner, we will recognize 4 high school students and they will be awarded with a Fred Rawlings Scholarship. A selection committee will determine the award criteria. Party includes top DJ who will keep everyone dancing and partying into the night. Open to all players, free cookout and beverages. Guests welcome who purchase pass to party. Raffles throughout evening.

We will have a MRT(Master Racquet Technician) Tim Strawn on site for racquet stringing.

Draws

Draws will be posted with first round match times by 12 noon Wednesday 6/18/08. Appeals about seeding need to be made by 10am on Wednesday 6/18/08. Please report a half hour before your scheduled match time at Hollins University.

Player Selection Type

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, June 16, 2008 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
