Charlottesville Junior Soft Court Championships - L3

Consolation match times are now posted except for the Girls 16 and under which will be available at 8:00 p.m. If you decide to not play please call the tennis shop to let me know asap.

All singles draws are posted. Doubles sign ups will remain open until 12:00 Monday. All doubles signups are limited to 8 teams. Please check back often to see if any changes have been made. I will contact anyone if the draw should change after 4:00 on SUNDAY. Due to the large number of entries some main draw matches will be played on hardcourts.

All seeds are as of July 29th.

All main draw singles matches will be 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 point match tie break for the third set Consolation matches will be 8 game pro sets regular scoring. Some consolation matches will be played on hard courts Doubles matches will be 8 game pro sets regular scoring. No consolation for doubles. Players may only sign up for one singles draw. No player will be entered into two singles draws.

Draws will be posted on Friday, August 1 at 4:00 p.m.

Doubles will be played on Tuesday, August 5th after 4:00 p.m.. Doubles draws will be posted on Monday, August 4th after 4:00 p.m. Draws are limited to 8 teams. You may sign up for doubles until August 4th at 12:00 p.m. Matches will be 8 game pro sets. No consolation for doubles. All doubles matches will be played on Tuesday.

There are many hotels in the Charlottesville area. The closest hotels to the club are the Boars Head Inn and the Best Western Cavalier Inn which is on the campus of UVA. The club is approximately 2 miles from the University of Virginia campus. more info

Stringing will be available at the Farmington pro shop

Please arrive to the facility already HYDRATED meaning that you need to start drinking water a few days before the tournament to be prepared for the heat on these days. It is especially important for players who will be playing two matches per day.
