The 2008 Jeff Myers Memorial Junior Tournament has been completed. Much thanks to all the participants, parents, staff and officials for the successful completion of another year!! Please double check the draws and report any errors to the Tournament Director. We hope to see you next year. ALL MATCHES FOR THIS TOURNAMENT WILL BE PLAYED AT SRP: SCOTTSDALE RANCH PARK, 10400 E Via Linda, Scottsdale, AZ. This sanctioned singles tournament is for USTA Southwest Section Juniors ONLY, played on hardcourts and under the lights. This tournament has a full feed-in consolation backdraw through the quarters. Tournament play will be held entirely at SRP: Scottsdale Ranch Park (10400 E Via Linda, Scottsdale AZ). There is NO WATER provided at SRP--bring your own water!! Matches will be played under lights on Thursday and Friday evenings. Match play begins at 430pm on Thu, 430pm on Fri, 8am on Sat/Sun---Please do not sign up for the tournament if you cannot play at 430pm on Thursday or Friday---NO MATCH TIMES/LOCATIONS WILL BE RESCHEDULED FROM THE PUBLISHED DRAW. It is the player's responsibility to sight verify their matches. Match tie-break will be played in lieu of a third set if any matches in the 10's or 12's split sets. All consolation/back draw matches will use the 10 point tiebreak in lieu of a third set. Any requests for withdrawing from the tournament will be charged a $7 processing fee from the City of Scottsdale; no refunds will be issued after the draw is published. The open draw was done at Scottsdale Ranch Park on October 22; the draw was published on Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Since the USTA does not release home/cell phone numbers to the tournament directors, PLEASE GIVE SCOTTSDALE RANCH PARK A CALL AT 480.312.8405 OR 480.312.8401 AND GIVE US YOUR CELL NUMBER!! This is the only way that we can contact you in case of withdrawals, defaults, byes, rain delays, etc.!!
