Entering two Events
Players are allowed to enter two divisions in Southern Level 3 tournaments with these guidelines: #1. Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected in the older age division. They would be removed from the other age division. #2. Players not selected to either division would remain on the alternates lists for both divisions but would be obligated to play the division they first get in from the alternates list. They would be removed from the Alternates list in the other division. #3. Players selected to one age division would be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected. #4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.
|
Selection Process
Draws limited to 32. Top 32 players applying from the USTA/Southern latest STANDINGS LIST. 28 players from this age group will be selected and up to 4 players from the younger age group who are eligible for the younger age group, who have a standing in the top 40 of the younger age group, and are not in the selected 28, will be selected. The names of the players who have been selected appear as COMPETITORS. Alternates are listed in the REPORT SECTION. DO NOT REFER TO THE ALTERNATES ON THE FAR LEFT SIDE OF THE WEB PAGE (That list is not updated)
|
Alternates
Alternates that are accepted into the tournament will be placed into the draw (as long as they do not affect seeding) and will be notified by the tournament. Please make sure your contact information - e-mail & telephone - is up to date with USTA membership. This is the information we use to contact you.
