Tournament guidelines

Singles events will begin on Saturday morning. Doubles entry will close Saturday at 5:00 PM. Doubles play will begin Sunday afternoon. Barring inclement weather, all matches will be best of three tiebreak sets. New balls for third set. The singles draw has a full feed-in consolation through the semis. Doubles is a single elimination tournament.

Local sponsoring hotels/motels. The Holiday Inn on Abercorn Street. (912) 352-7100. You will need to call to make the reservation, and mention The National 40’s tournament. The special room rate is $109/night and includes a full hot American buffet breakfast. If you would like to rent a condo, please contact Susan Holliday, The Landings Company, at 800/841-7011 or 912/598-0500 or sholliday@thelandings.com. All condo rentals are on a first come/first serve basis. If you are interested in staying with one of our Landings Club members, we have a limited number of homes available on, again, a first come first serve basis.
