*** Note about the number of Rounds in the Round Robin Events ***
While we are trying to provide 5 matches to all players, some events have an odd number of participating players, so the system will randomly one player sit out a specific round. The follwoing events have a odd number of players: Girls 14 &16 & Boys 8,14 & 16. If you are scheduled to sit out one round, please tell the tournament desk when you come in (and provide a cell phone number) and we will get you in if a position becomes free.

Contacting the Tournament Director (TD) or the Referee: Reg.,Withdraws, ...
[1] Please always provide your full name, your USTA # and the name(s) of the event(s) that you are participating in.
[2] Until the closing of the registrations, you can withdraw yourself online with your confirmation number.
[3] After closing of registration, and until the posting of the draws, please submit any withdrawal in writing by emailing BOTH the TD and the Referee (see email addresses above).
[4] After the posting of the draws, please FIRST CALL the TD and then email BOTH the TD and the Referee.

The Mission San Jose Community Park is very close by at 41403 Mission Blvd in Fremont, CA 94549.
When not used for the tournament, this site is available for warm-up on a first come first serve basis.

Tournament Format and Lateness
[1] To maximize the participants' tournament experience, the format will be a round-robin with 5 rounds of pro-sets (First player reaching 8 games by a margin of 2 games wins. A tie-break will be played at 8-8). Regular scoring will be used.
[2] Be on time for your matches: Check-in at the tournament desk 10 minutes BEFORE your scheduled match times and be ready to play. Penalties for lateness will be enforced.

[1] For your convenience, the registration deadline is now Monday 6/30 before midnight.
[2] When registering to the tournament, please make sure to provide that information (phone #s and email address) as we would otherwise be unable to reach you when needed (registration issues, schedule changes, withdraws, weather issue, ...).

[1] Please check tournament internet page for changes and
corrections to the printed Jr. Schedule. [2] Players will report
directly to first match site, not necessarily to the Fremont Tennis
Center. [3] Some matches will be played under lights. [4]Additional
sites may be used. Players are responsible for transportation
between sites. [5[ All withdrawals after entry closing date must be
made in writing to: jgonce@ci.fremont.ca.us [6] On tournament days,
withdrawals must be made by phone before 7 AM, and you must follow
up with a confirming email or fax (510) 790-5513. If we cannot
contact your opponent in time, late withdrawals may still be
charged with a default. [7] The tournament will NOT give
authorization for concurrent tournament registrations. We will
enforce concurrent tournament registration rules. [8] Special
lodging arrangements have been made with AmeriSuites in Fremont.
Please call 510-623-6000 ask for group sales. Ask for their special
rate for the Fremont Junior Open.
The 10 year old portion of this tournament is part of the 2010 Grand Prix Circuit and will count for a Grand Prix Ranking. For more information about the 2010 Grand Prix please visit the Junior Tennis homepage www.norcal.usta.com.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, June 30, 2008 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
