REMEMBER -- We have INDOOR COURTS !!
DRIVING DIRECTIONS: When going SOUTH on 880, exit at Warren
Blvd. Turn right and go about 100 yards. The club is on the right,
just past the Hyatt Place hotel.
When going NORTH on 880, go past the construction at the Mission
Blvd exit to the next exit--Fremont Blvd and Cushing Pkwy. At the
end of the exit ramp, turn left, go over the freeway and turn right
to loop around and go back south on 880. Then go south to the
Warren Blvd exit. Turn right and go about 100 yards. The club is on
the right, just past the Hyatt Place hotel.
When coming from 680, take the southern Mission Blvd exit (not the
one near the Sunol Grade) and go towards 880 (i.e. west). When
Mission Blvd comes to 880, go towards San Jose--the ramp goes over
880 and will merge from the right. Near the bottom of the ramp,
take the exit to the right for Gateway Blvd. At the first stop
light, turn right and go one long block till it deadends into
Warren Blvd. Turn left and go about 100 yards. The club is on the
right, just past the Hyatt Place hotel.
GENERAL INFORMATION
It is very important to enter your CONTACT INFORMATION when
registering for the tournament. If you have forgotten to do this,
please withdraw and re-enter, providing your phone numbers and
email address, so we can reach you if necessary (e.g. registration
issues, schedule changes,...).
1. The Tournament Desk is located at ClubSport Fremont, 46650
Landing Pkwy, which is on the west side of Hwy 880 at the south end
of Fremont.
2. All players and guests must sign in at Front Desk upon
arrival.
3. CHECK-IN at the Tournament Desk (near the gym) 15 minutes before
your first match. Be fully ready walk onto the court to play, and
remain there until match is called. In other words, go to the
bathroom before checking-in.
4. Cafe hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pro Shop hours are 10 a.m. to 1
p.m. Saturday closed Sunday.
5. The total number of entries in the tournament is limited to 96.
(Draws may be limited to 48 players.) If more than 96 entries are
received by the deadline, we will select players from the "bottom
up." All players without ranking points will be selected first and
then players will be selected from the bottom up of the most
recently published Sectional Final Ranking List at the time entries
close.
6. Players will play BOTH Saturday and Sunday in a round robin
format. Find starting times by clicking on "Draws" on sidebar,
which only appears after draws have been made and posted.
7. Entrants will play 2 or 3 matches each day (win or lose)
composed of one 5 game set (i.e. first to win 5 games), with a
standard tie-break at 4-all.
8. Matches are played INDOORS and OUTDOORS at the tournament's
discretion. Outdoor matches may be played under lights. Matches may
be played in the evening. (Matches may be played at ClubSport
Pleasanton, under extenuating circumstances.)
9. If it RAINS, call 510-226-8500 ext.516 to find out if the
schedule has changed. (Remember, we have indoor courts, which help
us stay on schedule.)
10. Complimentary snacks are available throughout tournament.
11. Ringers on all cell phones must be turned off when in the
tennis court area.
12. WITHDRAWALS: Before the entry deadline, entrants can withdraw
themselves online using their confirmation number. If an entrant
must withdraw from the tournament after the entry deadline, contact
the Tournament Director by phone at 510-226-8500 ext.516 AND by
email at lparker@clubsports.com.
13. We would appreciate your feedback. The tournament director, the
