IMPORTANT: walkovers, withdrawals, & defaults
In an effort to promote match play and completing tournaments, players will be assigned one (1) suspension point for any match that is not played due to walkover, withdrawal, or default. While players do sustain serious injuries or do become ill, players pulling out of tournaments have become too common. Players that withdraw before 5pm the day before the tournament begins will not receive any suspension points. The intent of this is to promote play, not punish players. Players are not suspended until they receive 10 total suspension points.

Southern Closed Information
BEWARE PLAYERS: Since the Creason begins in May, players that "age up" in June and July have the option to play up or in their current age division. Remember that if you "age up" in June, you will only be able to play in the Southern Closed if you "play up".
It is the players responsibility to sign up for the Southern Closed. The Entry Deadline for Southern Closed is during the Creason, so anyone interested in playing must sign up before the Endorsement List is completed. Also, it is the player's responsibility to check the Endorsment List and Competitors and/or Alternate list for the Southern Closed event.
Links to the Southern Closed events can be found on the Creason Page at www.kentuckytennis.com
