Medical Release Waiver/Check-In for t-shirt and player packet
PLAYERS SHOULD GO DIRECTLY TO THE SITE THEY PLAY WITH THEIR SIGNED MEDICAL RELEASE WAIVER AND TURN THE WAIVER IN WHEN THEY CHECK IN FOR THEIR MATCH. To receive a player packet and t-shirt, players may check in at the Cary Tennis Park beginning Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. and anytime throughout the event.

Selection Process
Top 64 players applying from the USTA/Southern latest STANDINGS LIST. 56 players from this age group will be selected and up to 8 players from the younger age group who are eligible from the younger age group, who have a standing in the top 80 of the younger age group, and are not in the selected 56, will be selected. The names of the player who have been selected will appear as COMPETITORS. Alternates are listed in the REPORT SECTION. DO NOT REFER TO THE ALTERNATES ON THE FAR LEFT SIDE OF THE WEB PAGE (That list is not updated).

From Interstate 40 East, take exit #278 on the right. Go 0.2 miles.
Turn right onto NC -55 South. Go 6.5 miles.

On NC 55, cross US 1 at Apex and continue on NC 55. Go 6 miles.

From Interstate 40 West coming into Raleigh, pass exit #301 and bear left onto I-40 West/I-440/Inner Beltline. Go 8 miles.
Take exit #293A onto US 64 West / US 1 South (not north) Go 2 miles.
Take the exit on the right onto Cary Parkway. Go 5 miles.
Turn left onto High House Road.
Turn left onto Carpenter Upchurch Rd.
Turn Right onto Louis Stephens Dr.
Turn left into Cary Tennis Park (2727 Louis Stephens Dr).
From northeast of Raleigh to Cary Tennis Park:
After reaching I-440 South/Inner Beltline, continue south on this Interstate past exit #16 toward Durham.

Signing up for Two divisions
Players are allowed to enter two divisions with these guidelines: #1. Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected to the older age division. They would be removed from the other age division. #2. Players not selected to either divisions would remain on the alternates lists for both divisions but would be obligated to play the division they first get in, from the alt. list. They would be removed from the Alternate list in the other division. #3. Players selected to one age division woud be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected. #4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made. You must enter both events,the Cary Bullfrog (12 or 14s) and the Raleigh Bullfrog(16 or 18s) to sign up for 2 divisions. This does not mean you are signing up for 2 tournaments.

Entering Two Tournaments
Do not enter two tournaments at the same time. How to avoid Penalties: If you end up on the alternate list, you must with-draw from the alternate list first and then enter the 2nd event. Tournaments have different deadlines that will allow you time to make your changes.

Format and Scoring
Draws will be 64 players with a Full Feed In through the Quarters and 3/4 playoff. Main Draw will play the best two out of three tie-break sets. Feed-in will be the best of three sets playing a 10 point match tie break in lieu of third set. In the event of inclement weather, match format is subject to change. The Consolation draws will play three matches on Sunday and three on Monday.

Tournament Withdrawals
Withdrawals should be directed to sean.ferreira@townofcary.org. No phone withdrawals. All withdrawals must be received by Saturday, September 27th to receive a refund.

All matches will use Dunlop Championship Hard Court Balls.

Player meals on Saturday and Sunday. Stadium court will be
chaired throughouth the event. Finals of all divisions will be
chaired.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, September 21, 2008 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
