Inland Empire Junior Championships

Thanks for all those players and parents who stuck it out last night. For all those players who did not play doubles last night you might end up playing three doubles events today. Please check the draws for match times and sites. No doubles matches will begin before 2 but please make sure to check the draws. Thanks to the parents who stayed out late last night and hopefully you got some sleep. Because of the rain doubles will be an 8 game pro-set no add scoring however singles will stay the same. Consolation matches will be 2/3 with a super tie-breaker for the third regular scoring and main draw matches will be 2/3 full third set. ALL SINGLES MATCH TIMES STAYED THE SAME HOWEVER ALL DOUBLES HAVE CHANGED PLEASE CHECK THE DRAW EITHER ONLINE OR AT THE RACQUET CLUB IN THE MORNING. Hopefully mother nature helps us out today! Temperatures this weekend are supposed to reach triple digits with a temperature Friday of 104. Please drink and eat lots of fluids, bananas, and powerbars before, after and during your matches. As a result of all this doubles will be an 8 game pro-set with add scoring. Main draw singles matches will be best 2 of 3 with a full third set however consolation matches will play a super tiebreaker for the third set. We are using three alternative sites this year including: 1. Hart Field (indicated on draw as HartF) 2. Comstock Park (COMST) 3. Spokane Community College (SCC) 4. Spokane Racquet Club (SRC) We will have directions to these facilities at the front desk!! PLEASE CHECK IN AT THE FRONT DESK AT SRC 30 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR FIRST MATCH! ONCE YOU HAVE CHECKED IN WITH THE STAFF AND WE HAVE GIVEN YOU YOUR T-SHIRT AND TICKET FOR DINNER YOU MAY GO TO YOUR SITE. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CHECK IN EVERY TIME AT SRC ONLY YOUR VERY FIRST MATCH! *We are planning on having a bbq free to players Friday night between 5:30-7:30. Those parents and friends who are not playing but would like to eat $5 will get you some food.
