This year the Carolina Cup partnered with the American Heart Association-TENNIS for a heart healthy lifestyle. The Carolina Cup donated $1,500 from funds raised to benefit the American Heart Association research and education programs. Thank you sponsors & players for your generous support.

Triangle Captures Carolina Cup...Again
The Triangle area continued its dominance of the Carolina Cup this weekend. The win marked the 8th time they have won the Cup in nine tries. West came in a close second, followed by Piedmont and East.
Final Standings:
Triangle - 49 points
West - 44 points
Piedmont - 33 points
East - 24 points

This is an invitational event. Captains from each of the 4 regions in NC will invite players to play on their team.

Registration Information
Please register for only one singles event in the age division you will be playing. No doubles registration. This does not mean you will play singles but is used for registration purposes only. Your Captain will assign the events that you will play.

Player hotel
The tournament hotel is the Courtyard Marriott, 1041 Wake Towne Drive, Raleigh, N. C. 27609. Rates are $64 and $69 for singles, doubles, triples and quads. To receive these rates, reservations must be made prior to Thursday, April 12, 2007. Reservations for the event should be made by the individual players directly with Marriott reservations at: (800) 228-9290. The player will need to ask for the Carolina Cup April 2007 Room Block.

From Airport/I-40 East/I-85 North: Take I-40 East to Wade Avenue (exit 289). Exit onto the I-440 Inner Beltline North (2nd exit to the I-440 Beltline from Wade Ave.) From the Beltline take the Wake Forest Road exit (# 10). Go right at the light onto Wake Forest Road, then take the first right onto Wake Towne Drive. Hotel is first entrance on right.
From I-95 North/I-40 West: Take I-95 north to I-40 West exit 301. Take I-440 Outer Beltline North to exit 10 (Wake Forest Road). Make a left at bottom of ramp onto Wake Forest Road. Make a right at the second light onto Wake Towne Drive. Hotel is first entrance on right.
I-85 South: Take I-85 South to Route 1 South. Follow Outer Beltline (I-440 West) to exit 10 (Wake Forest Road). Make a left at bottom of ramp onto Wake Forest Road. Make a right at the second light onto Wake Towne Drive. Hotel is first entrance on right.
From I-95 South: I-95 South to exit 138 to 64 west. Follow to I-440 Outer Beltline North to exit 10 (Wake Forest Road). Make a left at bottom of ramp onto Wake Forest Road. Make a right at the second light onto Wake Towne Drive. Hotel is first entrance on right.

Raleigh Racquet Club is located at 5516 Falls of Neuse Road in Raleigh. RRC is between Millbrook Road and Spring Forest Road. Players coming from east should take I-440 to Wake Forest Raod. Take Wake Forest Road away from downtown and Raleigh Racquet Club is between Millbrook Road and Spring Forest Road on the right. Players coming from west should take I-540 to Falls of Neuse Road towards downtown. RRC is between Spring Forest and Millbrook on the left.
Directions to Raleigh Racquet Club from Rocky Mount
Take US-64 W. Merge onto I-440 W toward Wake Forest. Take the Wake Forest Rd exit #10. Turn right onto Wake Forest Rd, which becomes Falls of Neuse Rd. Follow the road for about 5 minutes. RRC will be on your right. If you drive too far you will reach Spring Forest Rd.

Take I-40 W. Merge onto I-440 E via exit #301. Take the Wake Forest Rd. exit #10. Turn left onto Wake Forest Rd, which becomes Falls of Neuse Rd. Follow the road for about 5 minutes. RRC will be on your right. If you drive too far you will reach Spring Forest Rd.
Directions to Raleigh Racquet Club from West/Greensboro
Take I-40- W toward Burlington/Durham. Take the I- 540 exit #283 toward Hwy 70. Go to exit 14: Falls of Neuse Rd. Turn right off of the exit onto Falls of Neuse. Go approximately 3.5 miles and the entrance to the club will be on your left.

Player Party
The Player Party will be held Saturday at the Raleigh Racquet Club. Dinner will be served from 5:30 until 7:00. Guests are welcome at $20 per person. Please notify your Captain by April 20th if you are bring a guest.
