Seeding
Seeding was done in accordance with USTA Reg.I.G.4. Briefly, it states that the seeding committee shall consider all available evidence including, but not limited to rankings, current records, common opponents, and PARTICULARLY recent HEAD-TO-HEAD ENCOUNTERS. (Capitalization added for emphasis.)
Finally, a new USTA regulation further clarify the seeding process. "a tournament cannot be seeded “using only a computer generated means such as a standings list or ranking list”.

FIRST MATCH TIMES
First match times will be available on Sunday, November 11 after 3pm online and by calling the Roy Barth Tennis Center at (843)768-2838.

Starting Times/ Draw Sizes
Any draws larger than 16 will start on Wednesday, November 14.

Consolation
There will be full feed in consolation for all singles events and a mandatory playoff for 3rd and 4th.

Accomodations
Special accomodation rates are available in one, two, or three bedroom villas. One bedroom villas are $113/night; two bedroom villas are $134/night; and three bedroom villas are $172/night. Rates are based on availability and are subject to a 11.5% tax and a 8% service fee. Call reservations at 800-654-2924 and ask for the Southern Senior Tournament rate and ask for booking number 6079.

Entertainment
Thursday afternoon 3:45-4:45pm there will be an accuracy contest and demo sponsored by Wilson. Thurday evening 6:00-8:15pm a pasta dinner will be served at the Turtle Point Golf Club on Kiawah. Casual attire. $26 charge for non playing spouse and guests. Friday evening 6:00-8:30pm: Lowcountry Buffet with varied selections. Osprey Point Clubhouse. Casual attire. $26 charge for non playing spouses and guests.

Daily: 8:00-10:30am: Coffee, juice, danish, and fruit will be served at tennis club. There will also be complimentary water, soft drinks and beer served daily at the club.
