Rookie Guidelines
USTA Florida Section sanctioned Rookie tournaments are designed for and specifically
limited to new players, recreational players, and players with few if any standing points
under the Florida points system. The events are not open to non-residents, academy or
other players with advanced skills, or any player ranked IN ANY DIVISION in the top 200 of
the Standings List in the Boy’s and Girl’s 10s or top 400 in the Boy’s and Girl’s 12s, 14s,
16s, & 18s.

Directions to Lake Cane Tennis Center from Turnpike:
Take exit 259 to I-4 East. From I-4, take exit 78 (Conroy Rd.) and head West. Go about 2 miles to Turkey Lake Road and make a left. We are the first driveway on the right (Shadow Bay Park).

Refunding of Entry Fee: There are no refunds after the deadline for any level tournament.
Players wishing to withdraw before the deadline must go back to the registration site.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, July 25, 2007 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
