Check in DIRECTLY to you ASSIGNED SITE 30 MIN prior to your match time--even earlier would be okay. Report directly to your assigned site (see below) for all subsequent matches. See below for site abbreviations. A REPORT WITH DIRECTIONS WILL BE PUBLISHED WHEN DRAWS GET POSTED. PRINT THIS REPORT AND BRING IT WITH YOU TO THE EVENT.

MULTPLE STES WILL BE USED
Multiple sites will be used. Next to the match times on the draws is an abbreviation to indicate the assigned site. Seascape Sports Club is "SSC", Harbor HS is "HH",Soquel HS is "SQH", and Aptos HS is "AHS" Click above for directions to all sites. Scotts Valley HS and Cabrillo College may be used as practice sites for warm ups before matches. First come, first serve basis only.

UNSCHEDULED DOUBLES MATCHES
Any unscheduled doubles matches will be posted on or before Wednesdays draw postings.

PRE-TOURNAMENT CONTACT/ DURING TOURNAMENT CONTACT
Please contact the TD by email and also by phone (831) 332-5296 up until the day of the tournament. Starting the first day of the tournament you must get a hold of someone in person on the tournament phone, especially for any default or withdrawals. No phone messages will be accepted for withdrawals or defaults.

NORCAL RULES
Players, parents, coaches (and anyone else associated with a player) should be familiar with NorCal's Rules. Players who withdraw after publication of the draws will receive 2 suspension points. Players who default from singles (main draw or consolation) by refusing to play or continue to play receive 5 suspension points, unless for reasons of illness, injury, or personal emergency, which require acceptable written documentation. MATCHES PER DAY/ PREPARE FOR HOT WEATHER
There will be two matches a day and three in some cases with doubles. Make sure and hydrate before the tournament and bring water and energy bars so you are prepared to play. Remember it is a full feed in consolation so when you get out of the main draw there is more tennis to play. Check all draws before coming to check possible scenarios.

College Night Sponsorsed by USTA NorCal and Santa Clara University
Players and parents are invited to participate in the USTA College night at the SCU Sectionals Tuesday, June 19 at 6pm at SCU. The discussion will take place in the Team Meeting room in the Leavey Center behind the trophy case in the main lobby. (Park in Lot F) Invited guests include Hilary Somers of USF, George Husack of Santa Clara University, Darryl Lee of UC Davis, Bob Hansen of UC Santa Cruz, Tamara Ramos- Parent of collegiate player and member of USTA NorCal's Junior Council and Chair of Sanction and Schedule committee, Matt Seeberger- 3 Time DIII national champion from UC Santa Cruz, SCU Broncos Myra Davoudi and Brian Brogan. This evening will consist of a round table discussion and Q& A to better educate parents and students of the college recruting and college playing experience. Email jscalese@scu.edu to register by Friday, June 15 with the names of the attendees. This event is open to all junior sectional participants (12, 14, 16, 18) in NorCal so register ASAP. There is no cost for this event and pizza and drinks will be provided.

This is a National Level 3 tournament and is open to Northern California Residents only.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, June 10, 2007 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
