USTA International Spring Championships

Acceptance Lists are now posted, please click on more information below. Players will be denoted as MD (Main Draw), Q (Qualies) or A (Alternate). As players withdrawal from the tournament we will move players into the appropriate draw. Therefore it is imperative that each players watch the website to see if you have moved into the draw. If you are not planning on playing qualies or signing in you must contact the tournament director. You should send an e-mail or fax stating that you are withdrawaling. All players must sign-in at the specified sign-in time stated on the fact sheet. All players must register and bring cash payment during sign-in. more info

Because of Easter Sunday, the referee has authorized MAIN DRAW PLAYERS to sign-in on Saturday between the hours of 10 am-1pm or on Sunday as scheduled from 11 am-4pm. Qualifiers must register on Friday from 11am-4pm.

Full Hospitality is provided to all players in the Boys and Girls 18's Main Draw. Players in the Main Draw will receive a $51.00 per day housing allowance (if you stay in the hotel) based on double occupancy from Sunday, April 6th through night of elimination from the tournament at the official players hotel for the International Spring Championships. The official hotel is the Torrance Holiday Inn located at 19800 S. Vermont Avenue, Torrance, CA 90503. You must book your hotel room through the USTA to receive the $89.00 rate at the contact number listed on the fact sheet. Reservations made on the Internet or by phone through the hotel will not receive the rate and we will be unable to change the reservation to the USTA rate. All RESERVATIONS MUST BE BOOKED BY MARCH 15th. A higher rate will apply if you wait until after the March 15th deadline. Players who are coming to the hotel without a parent and do not have their own credit card will need to make sure to complete the Hotel Credit Card Authorization form. The deadline to withdrawal without incurring penality is 14 days prior to the scheduled start. Players not planning to attend the event, including alternates and qualifies, should contact the tournament to withdrawal. You can send a fax to 310-630-4501 or send an e-mail to Lansville@usta.com. Players not contacting the tournament will receive both ITF and USTA suspension points.

Via 405 Freeway North (from Long Beach, Orange County) 1) Exit on Avalon Blvd., Make a right onto Avalon Blvd. Make a right into main entrance of Home Depot Center. Via 405 Freeway South (from Santa Monica, West LA, San Fernando Calley) 1) Exit on Vermont. At the bottom of the offramp, turn left onto 190th street, which become Victoria Street. Continue past Avalon Blvd and turn Right on Avalon Blvd and left into the main entrance of the Home Depot Center.

Please note that this tournament uses ITF Age Eligibility as opposed to the USTA's Month of Birth Age Eligibility. Players who turn 19 in 2007 will be unable to compete in the 18's division and players who turn 17 in 2007 will be unable to compete in the 16's division. Players must be 13 years of age to compete in ITF Events.

Players must sign-in for doubles on-site. As with all ITF events, players must wear appropraite clothing (no t-shirts) and players must wear similar colors as partner.
