GENERAL INFORMATION
When you register, be sure to provide your email address and cell phone
number during the registration process. We do not have access to phone numbers
and email addresses of the tournament participants UNLESS the player re-enters
their contact information at the time of the event registration. This means
that if a player does not enter their phone number and email information each
time they register for a tournament, we will not be able to contact them for
any reason, including withdrawals, defaults, etc. Your cooperation will ensure
that we can continue to communicate necessary information to all of the
tournament players.

PLAYER TOURNAMENT WAIVER
Each player must submit a signed Player Waiver to the Tournament Director BEFORE playing their first match.

TOURNAMENT SELECTION PROCESS
Each singles draw is limited to 64 players. The players will be selected as follows: 60 players will be selected based on their ranking on the most recently published Boys/Girls 12 Division Combined Sectional Final Ranking List. WILDCARDS: Up to four wild cards may be selected by the Wild Card Committee from among the players who entered by the deadline. Late applicants are not considered for wildcards. If the Wild Card Committee awards fewer than 4 wild cards, the remaining spots in the draw will be filled with players from the Combined Sectional Final Ranking List used to select players into the draw. ALTERNATE LIST: All players not selected will be placed on an Alternate List that is ordered using the Combined Sectional Final Ranking List used to select players into the draw. LATE APPLICANTS: Late Applicants are placed on the bottom of the list in the order received; late applications received at the same time are ordered randomly.

DRAW FORMATS
Singles: The
draw format will be a Feed-In Championship that feeds players in through the
Round of 16.
The quarterfinal losers will be fed into a separate draw
to playoff for 5th and 6th place. All singles draws have a playoff for 3rd and
4th place.
All players are required to play the playoff matches. The
FIC draw will play to completion. The
FIC is considered part of the tournament and participation is mandatory for all
singles main draw players.

MATCH AND SCORING FORMATS
Match and scoring formats are as
follows:

Draw Singles (including playoff for 3rd/4th place):
Best of 3 Tiebreak Sets
• Feed-In
Championship Matches (including playoff for Quarterfinals Losers):
Best of 3 Tiebreak Sets with a 10-Point
Match Tiebreak in Lieu of a 3rd Set
Regular
scoring will be used.

SEEDING
The most recently published Sectional Singles Seeding List of the division will be used to seed singles draws.

TOURNAMENT BALL
The Wilson US Open
ball will be utilized for the tournament.

CHANGES TO THE DRAW/TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:
Should
circumstances arise that require us to change the draw we will notify all
players involved by email. Any change needed to be made to a match time will be
communicated by telephone message and email, unless it is due to
inclement weather, in which case updates will be posted to the TennisLink
tournament home page.
