DRAWS ARE POSTED!
The draws have been posted. All matches will be played at Sierra View Country Club (SVCC). You can access them using the "more info" link at the end of this message or via tennislink.usta.com using the tournament id# 500038721. The draws are on the same site as where you registered for the tournament. All matches will consist of 2 tie-break sets (a 7-point tiebreaker played at 6 games all) with a 10-point match tiebreak played at 1 set all in lieu of a full third set. Players will have a 5 minute warmup with their opponent prior to the start of their match. No practice courts are available at the site.
Players are responsible for their match times. Be certain to refer to the schedule prior to each match, as matches may change (be cancelled or different opponent) due to player withdrawals. We will probably not have the opportunity to contact you directly.
Please, allow yourself plenty of time to get to the tournament, as lateness penalties will apply, which will result in loss of games and potentially a default. We held a junior tournament last weekend and a few players; especially those coming from the Bay Area, encountered heavy traffic.
Please, remember to bring your completed Waiver form, which is accessed below and read the information concerning procedures due to COVID-19. Per USTA Norcal policy, no snacks or drinks will be available. There is a drinking fountain off of one of the courts on site. It is to be warm so please bring plenty of water.
If you need to contact the tournament at any time, please email Steve and me: sdunmore@sierraviewcc.com jelinea@me.com
We are looking forward to a great tournament! - Tony

Concurrent Tournament Rule
A player shall not be entered at the time entries close in two or more USTA sanctioned tournaments scheduled to take place at the same time, in whole or in part, unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation, concurs in writing, and each agrees to accommodate the player’s schedule. The final decision rests with each tournament committee. If one tournament agrees to accept concurrent entries and accommodate the player's schedule but the concurrent tournament does not, the player may not enter both. If entries for the overlapping tournaments close on different dates, approval must be received from all Tournament Committees no later than the entry closing date that occurs last. Players who enter a tournament and play it to completion, may then enter another tournament with overlapping dates without permission. If a player violates this concurrent tournament rule ranking points earned in any concurrent tournament played will not count toward ranking or the Grand Prix Points Race and the concurrent tournaments will not count toward the minimum tournament requirement to qualify for Grand Prix.

Tournament Selection
This tournament is considered the rescheduled tournament from September 12 - 13 that had to be cancelled due to unhealthy air quality. The selection process is as follows (Please note: due to the special circumstances of this tournament the selection process differs from the normal selection of all players after the close of registration): 1. Players who were already in the September 12 -13 tournament 2. Any alternates for the September 12 - 13 tournament 3. Any other player who would like to play. If you register online for the tournament, selection will be by lot for any available space in any of the events. If there is no spot available, you may be added to the alternate list for the event. Currently, the Men's 3.5 and Men's 4.0 draws are full. Applicants for these events will be considered as alternates - selected by lot after registration closes.
