Concurrent Tournament Rule
A player shall not be entered at the time entries close in two or more USTA sanctioned tournaments scheduled to take place at the same time, in whole or in part, unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation, concurs in writing, and each agrees to accommodate the player’s schedule. The final decision rests with each tournament committee. If one tournament agrees to accept concurrent entries and accommodate the player's schedule but the concurrent tournament does not, the player may not enter both. If entries for the overlapping tournaments close on different dates, approval must be received from all Tournament Committees no later than the entry closing date that occurs last. Players who enter a tournament and play it to completion, may then enter another tournament with overlapping dates without permission. If a player violates this concurrent tournament rule ranking points earned in any concurrent tournament played will not count toward ranking or the Grand Prix Points Race and the concurrent tournaments will not count toward the minimum tournament requirement to qualify for Grand Prix.

Notes
We schedule the draws so that if everyone that could create a
conflict in multiple events wins, we can play without rescheduling
anything. As we work our way to Sunday and if your opponents have
no conflicts, we are open to try and move up your matches. No
guarantees, but you can ask us. We like getting done early too.
Tournament Desk: The desk is at the SPA SIDE of the hotel at 1605
Atlas Peak Road. Enter to the right of the Spa building (signs will
be posted) where a gate will be open allowing entry. Do not enter
directly through the spa entrance. If you are late because you go
to the mansion side of the hotel, you will still be assessed time
penalties.
Check-in: Once you check in, please stay near the tournament desk.
Make sure you can hear Katie's wonderful voice at all times. We
pride ourselves on running this tournament efficiently, so check in
early and be ready to get on the court.
Communication: If you need to withdraw, please email me as well
as call me or text. Both communication avenues are key.
Spa Amenities: Sadly, the Spa Locker Rooms, Gym and Pool are for
paying spa and hotel guests only. We wish we could make this a big
pool party on top of the tennis, but that is out of our
control.
Food: There is the Spa Cafe, Silverado Market, and The Grill
Restaurant on the property if you are searching for food. Downtown
dining is 10 minutes away. Semifinals/ 3rd and 4th Place
Playoff: If you make a semifinal, then you will play again win or
lose in the semifinals. The semifinal losers will play for third
and fourth place. Penalties are in force for those that do not show
up to play in their playoff matches.
Alternates: Be ready! We almost always have a few people drop out
before the tournament. Practice Courts: Players should know that we
do not provide practice courts except for those with 8 am matches
each day.
Tennis Balls: We will be using Wilson US OPEN Championship Balls
Extra Duty!
Bathrooms: Please try and use the restroom before you check in.
This helps speed up play tremendously. There will be signage on
both sides for the restrooms.
Traffic: Please give yourself plenty of time to get to Silverado!
Weekends are busy for the Napa Valley, so leave in plenty of
time.
We do not issue refunds once the draws have been posted.
Thank you for participating this weekend and we are excited to see
new and returning face.
Sincerely,
Jacob, Katie, Quinn, and John
