Important info!
This is a one or 2 day event day for the 12s It is a 4 to 6 hr event for the 10s. Most likely we will play both divisions on Saturday. However, please clear your schedule on Saturday and Sunday. Plan on starting as early as 8am with last matches sometimes going on at 6p. Usually we start at 1130a. A Round robin or compass draw will be the format depending on the signups. The 10s uses a 60 ft short court and orange ball. 10s scoring format is a no add scoring 4 game short set. The 12s will use a 78ft full court with a green dot ball. It is not coed and regular 6 game sets will be the match format with regular scoring. Doubles is required and you may sign up with a partner or we will pair you up unless there is an odd player out. The doubles format will be a 10 point tie break for all divisions. All draws are limited to 8 singles and 4 doubles. However, if this is a stand alone tournament where no other age groups or divisions play besides the orange and green then we will accept most all players. Draws are limited so sign up as soon as possible so you do not miss the deadline!! Due to the amount of courts it takes to meet the new rule requirements all of our tournaments will be tournament director selection which means that you have not guaranteed a spot until we choose you. We will follow usta guidelines for the selection process.

Attention all players and alternates
Thank You for applying for the tournament! This is a limied draw/tournament director selection tournament. The selection process is determined by the usta. If you were not accepted then you were automatically put on an alternate list and we will notify you if a spot opens up. Please email us if you do not want to be put on the alternate list. You also will not be charged for your entry fee. This is a new tournament that was sanctioned this year. The problem with the usta sanctioning a new tournament and not a longstanding one is that we cannot prepare for the amount of players ahead of time. We hate turning any players away and would like to give the most amount of players an opportunity to play. Please check your start time on friday just in case your opponent has withdrawn and your schedule changes!

Selection process, Eligibility, Seeding
This tournament is a Tournament Director selection process. That means that you are not in the tournament until we accept you. Most likely we will accept all players unless we have extreme large draws. We will follow the usta rules on the selection process if we do not accept all players. It is a top down selection process for open players and bottom up for challenger players. Eligibility to this tournament is open to all usta members that fall in the correct age brackets. If your birthday is during the same month of the tournament then you must play in the next higher age group. The seeding method that is used is whatever the current norcalusta list is on the day that we do the draws.
